GTripp0012 01-07-2014, 12:08 PM I agree with you except for the fact that we dont know if he's been humbled. We also have no idea if he needed to be humbled in the first place. The unemployed former head coach's standard for player input on decisions is not the industry standard. All criticisms of Robert Griffin the person as it pertains to his employment as QB of the Redskins were invalidated the moment Mike Shanahan was fired. New boss = new standard. Nothing I have seen from him seems terribly out of step with any other stuff we get from league QBs. Moreover, we WANT our starting Qb to have some ego, some attitude. You don't think Peyton, Brady, or other elite QBs don't have healthy self images? If they didn't, they wouldn't demand the ball, think that they could go forth an conquer, and dominate opponents. I agree. If there is one thing I don't want in a QB it's humility. I like my QB to be downright cocky. I don't mind a bit if he's so demanding of his teammates that they are uncomfortable with it. My ideal Redskins QB would be supremely confident, uber-competitive, and intolerant of poor play by anybody on the team. He would not be able to stand losing. Women would say "he's stuck-up" and men would think that he's a prick. I wouldn't want to hang out with him. irish 01-07-2014, 12:23 PM We also have no idea if he needed to be humbled in the first place. IMO humbled is the wrong word. I think "had his eyes opened" would be better. Just because Shanny is gone doesnt invalidate anything for me but I agree that new coach=new standard. Evilgrin 01-07-2014, 12:28 PM How is Lance Armstrong, Sally? Chico23231 01-07-2014, 12:33 PM How is Lance Armstrong, Sally? She didnt do her research there either and made a million perpetuating a fraud Paintrain 01-07-2014, 12:39 PM We also have no idea if he needed to be humbled in the first place. BTW, his teammates, who he has offended, alienated, disrespected, big timed and everything else that Sally and Shanny want you to believe, voted him as the recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award for this season. What an ass. skinsfan69 01-07-2014, 12:48 PM I think it's crazy to think that the stuff that comes out about RG3 is 100% not true. Some of this stuff is true. But it's annoying that every week something else comes out. The season is over. Time for everyone to move on. KI Skins Fan 01-07-2014, 12:49 PM This story is all over the media now where it is generally perceived to be true. Now the "party line" is that RGIII needs to grow up and become a better teammate. RGIII, Dan Snyder, and the Redskins get trashed. Bitch gets her name in the press all over the country. Things seem to have worked out just the way she hoped. Who's the diva, here? |
