Alvin Walton 05-09-2014, 04:07 PM I wonder if Bruce and Jay are sniffing around Jace Amaro. warriorzpath 05-09-2014, 04:11 PM I'd say no to Kouandijo and his knees. I lineman with knee issues, I don't like it but hey. Whoever they take I just hope it works out. Not to be argumentative, but was there ever a comparable player with the same or similiar condition? It's just a situation where the Redskins need to do their due diligence and weigh the known risks with draft position/round. MTK 05-09-2014, 04:21 PM Worth posting again Dr. James Andrews says no issues with Cyrus Kouandjio's knee - CBSSports.com (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24470778/dr-james-andrews-says-no-issues-with-cyrus-kouandjios-knee) cdskins26 05-09-2014, 04:22 PM My brain says Moses, going into the season with Polumbus really shouldn't be an option, but as a Badger I would love to draft Chris Borland, team would get a reliable and intelligent leader. If still an option, I would love to swap something like cousins and our 4th to get another second rounder and take both. If still an option, I would love to swap something like cousins and our 4th to get another second rounder and take both. No need. Borland will be there in the 3rd or even the 4th round. over the mountain 05-09-2014, 04:33 PM Not to be argumentative, but was there ever a comparable player with the same or similiar condition? It's just a situation where the Redskins need to do their due diligence and weigh the known risks with draft position/round. the comparison that jumps out to me is chris samuels and his stenosis. different pre-existing injuries but it seems both have been told they could play 1 year or 10 years in the NFL, no one can be sure how long. i havent read the dr andrews article matty linked and am going to do that now. from the andrews article: "These types of patterns are real common on those big guys, real common. "He has a little bit of cartilage wear in his knee, but that's such a common finding in an NFL draft-able player, my impression - andrews is showing bias to the Alabama program and perhaps a player he got to know as a person and likes. i dont buy that his wear and tear is common - if it was, id assume many more OTs would also have the same chirping going on about their condition. it sounds like he has the same problem as bowen and other NFL vets - bad knees. only problem is this kid isnt an NFL vet and at his size, the problem (swelling, loss of stability) is only going to get worse .. not better. Jayroc24 05-09-2014, 04:47 PM Okay who is better Moses or Kouandjio? No favorites why is one better than the other at tackle? Anyone have an idea? warriorzpath 05-09-2014, 04:53 PM Looking at some reports on Moses and Kouandijo, just on performance - Moses appears to be the better prospect. Moses was more consistent in 2013 than Kouandijo. punch it in 05-09-2014, 04:54 PM im not a big fan of moving down too much or just moving down to move down. id personally rather have a 2nd rounder vs 2 4th rounders. i dont mind moving down a few spots but i want to walk away from the draft with at least one penciled-in starter vs a handful of potential contributors. go get talent. talent wins. Totally agree with this. punch it in 05-09-2014, 05:00 PM I wouldn't be unhappy at all with Kouandijo or Moses, or Su'a-Filo at #34. You dont think that any of them can be really good, or you just dont want an olineman? Edit: nevermind. I read happy not unhappy. |
