Everyone naturally assumes starting Cousins is for two reasons

1- to keep RG3 healthy
2- to showcase Cousins for trade bait

But what if MS is trying to prove to DS that Cousins is better and can lead this team? If Cousins does well and the team wins.... do we keep MS for the final year, drop the read option, and start Cousins?

I firmly believe this is exactly what is going on, Shanny wanted Capt Kirk from jump but Snyder forced the more glamorous RGIII pick,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ha conspiracy theory on the floor.

The roster is very weak, especially in terms of depth. One more draft isn't going to cover up the deficiencies on the team, even with cap space for FA signings.

Sorry guys at being Mr. pessimist as usual, but too many variables here to say if we would get good value for a Cousins trade, and if we should even consider trading Cousins at all. Some of you are banking at RG III getting healthy and all of a sudden getting a great work ethic and suddenly being coachable.
