Please knock off any metaphors alluding to politics and the so-called race card. THANK YOU!

Done. and you're Welcome.

If you're taking the poll results at face value and ignoring the discussion, call it lunch room talk or whatever, but you're missing the point if that's what you're doing.

I for one don't agree with him sitting, I think he needs the reps and he's far from the only guy out there struggling, but a small part of me is glad there's no risk in him getting hurt now.

And I still think Shanny is a rat bastard who could really care less about his health and there are personal motives at play. If he really was concerned about his health he would have sat him down to start the season.

I agree with most of what you said, but if RG3 was able to play I'd say he was playing because of $$$.

I'll agree he needs reps but two things I don't now and that is... was truly MS's decisions to bench RG3? and is playing Cousins a last chance to keep his job? or question 3- are we just show casing Cousins for a trade?

Q-1: Could it have been Snyder who called the meeting and said shut him down so he doesn't get hurt? and let MS say whatever to save face.

Q-2: Could there have been an agreement between DS, Allen, and MS that if he can show it's not the scheme and Cousins plays well then DS will give him the final year to fix this?

Q-3: or was MS ordered to play Cousins to show case him for trade bait?

Some of these questions might answer why MS said RG3 needed the reps then a week later said they were going to protect him and bench him.

Also the field is atrocious. I think it was worse then last year final game which damaged RG3's knee the most and they are expecting more snow this Sat which will not help the field unless they have a tarp on it.

glad 43% of the forum agree to bench rg3. haha ur "agreeing" with a coach whos getting canned based on that dumb move. way to go boys

Shanny is being canned because of his poor record. Horrible with picking QBs, his historically bad defense, and the worst special teams I ever saw period (including Pop Warner).

How we all might be surprised if MS is NOT fired. If Cousins plays well for 3 games then it would point to the problem being RG3 not the system or coaching.

I hope to heck though that if they decide to keep MS then they gotta, gotta, gotta fire Haslett and Burns and bring in a decent DC (not Morris) and a decent Special Teams Coordinator.

Regardless of what Cousins does the D and ST are still a big mess and Shanahan will have 3 of 4 losing seasons on his hands here. He deserves to be fired for his poor W/L record and these last 3 games aren't going to make up for that.

Some people like to visit the assumption room around here, but I've gotta say you're taking up residency in assumption city. Wow.

RG3 does not play special teams or defense. As soon as the Redskins get down by double digits, it's gonna get ugly. I saw Kirk's quarter Sunday, offensive line looks the same. He took a beating. Kirk is not Tebow.

If cousins plays well it will be because the Skins played the Falcons (29th ranked D), The Giants (21st ranked D), and the Cowboys... possibly the Worst defense ever. If he actually was concerned for RG3 or wanted to give Cousins a chance he would have benched him against KC. Except Shanahan knows KC would kill Cousins too so he would look like an idiot, which in my opinion, he already does.

I think this was well calculated move by Shanahan for future coaching jobs for him or his son.
