Thsibsi all about power, has nothing to do with football. If you didn't want RG3 then do''t draft RG3 real simple. If you are in charge of personel which is Shannahan's title then you don't draft RG3, if you didn't want RG3. It's about power. Shanny coaching sucks, defense sucks special teams suck. None of that has to do with RG3.

You have a QB with a strong arm and good intelligence and the only play you can think of is an option play? Mike your son is not a very good offensive coordinator. We are 3-9 because this is the same system run in houston. NFL has passed that system good bye.

Robert just never looked healthy those first few games. I know people will say this and that, but it looked like more than knee brace. Oh, well. All water under the bridge I guess.

Wait, what? I was referring to Eli not being very mobile. He's not known as a running QB like RG3. He's known for managing a game and sitting in the pocket and delivering the ball, but CAN scramble a little to avoid pressure if need be.

Fair enough. I thought you were saying Kirk Cousins and Eli were the same type of player.

In hindsight, when you look at how Shanny handled Albert Haynesworth, Fred Davis, McNabb, and now Robert -- this guy isn't a player's coach. More specifically, players with big personas and egos. Just wasn't a good fit from the beginning.

We have Atlanta which was a playoff team last yr and not really terrible this year, Dallas, and the Giants left to play.

Again what if: Cousins plays well, looks good in a traditional West Coast Offense, and the team wins all 3 games? would that be good enough reason to keep MS one more yr, start Cousins next yr, and only bring someone new in at DC? Then between the draft and the $36 mill upgrade the OL, WR, and defense side of the ball?

If Robert can't outscore his own defense, Kirk won't be able to either.

Robert's also running for his life and sometimes getting nailed a second after receiving the snap. I don't think Kirk is any quicker or a better escape artist.

As great as this line seems to be at run blocking, they're as equally bad at pass protection. It doesn't make sense, but I don't think any QB could succeed behind Tyler Polumbus and this line.

If Shanahan's real objective here is keeping a young QB and team asset healthy as the team struggles, we should be playing Rex Grossman the rest of the way.

I bet we'll see him before the year is over, probably when Polumbus lets Osi Umenyiora run right past him and concusses Kirk this week.
