Beck? no. but am wiching for a QB who is like Aaron Rodgers, one who will sit in the pocket and deliver the ball, but will run from pressure if need be. Beck was not the latter.

You need an offense for that. Shannahan's offense is not what you looking for. With a drop back QB his offense sucks, with a running Qb his offense sucks. His only decent season was running read option. Any season he ran his own offense, his offense sucked.

The only thing, the only thing that makes RG3 special is his legs. Meaning he's fast and he can run. Yes I'm all for a QB who has mobility so he can get away from pressure unlike Sexy Rexy, but I'd prefer my QB to stay in the pocket and go through is progressions if at all possible. Which brings me back to the OL which sucks.

If you look at his college game compared to Cousins he is much better at downfield passing than Kirk while Kirk was better at short and intermediate. Also in reference to Eli manning being a game manager that is a ridiculous statement.

There's probably some truth to this. However, I don't think they're ready to move on from him. I doubt that. It's not going to matter anyway cause they're probably going to be fired.

I think we all said the same thing last year, no? why give up the farm for RG3 then two rounds later draft another QB? Unless RG3 was not the guy MS wanted and he was buying insurance with Cousins?

What's the chance Snyder had something to do with RG3 getting picked? Also RG3 was the second best QB according to all the draft boards and media. So the team picks RG3 cause he's the second best QB but they draft a guy, Cousins, whom they think fits better in their system?

Wait, what? I was referring to Eli not being very mobile. He's not known as a running QB like RG3. He's known for managing a game and sitting in the pocket and delivering the ball, but CAN scramble a little to avoid pressure if need be.

Sigh. Personally I don't think this is Shanahan's offense. It hardly looks like what he ran in Denver. To me that is. Yea the first two years clearly MS style of ball. Last year looked like KS and MS came up with some cocka meme scheme of adding the read option to their system to help RG3 make plays and to help the team win. Now after RG3's injury this year looks like they have tried to move away from the read option plays (maybe due to RG3's injury) and more towards MS's offense. Especially these last two games.

Why would RG3 need help? cause he didn't come to the team until after what June? he didn't have a full season with the coaches to study film, coach him up on reading defenses, and learning their play book. So the easiest thing to do is incorporate what RG3 knows and does well into their offense. It worked. This last year he spend all summer rehabbing. Could he have been at the office studying film with KS all summer? IDK.

Do any of you honestly think... that if Cousins comes in and plays like he did against Cleveland, that he's getting traded? That's simply not going to happen. What's going to happen is there's going to be a full blown QB controversy come training camp. In the end, as Redskin fans, don't we just want the best guy to play? If that's RG3, Cousins or Pat White, I just want the best guy out there. Some of you are too wrapped in your emotional investment with RG3. lol.

I just want to win, I don't give a crap who it is. That said; I'm personally convinced that this year with RG3 was more to do with the injury than inability to be a great QB. I think he will be a great QB, and is the future of this franchise. I think Cousins, if he has legit value, will be traded in the off-season to help recap picks. If Cousins garners no more than we paid for him (a 4th round pick), I don't think he goes anywhere.

I don't care who it is; but Cousins one good game and one good throw against Baltimore last year, doesn't make me thing he is suddenly better than the guy who electrified the league a year ago.

A player put the team on his back, got you the NFC East Championship and he is not the right pick. Total BS.

And played with a sprained MCL while doing so in the last three games...

What a terrible QB must be....

As long as we see a pitch to Josh Morgan that turns in to a pass to Cousins downfield
