DynamiteRave 12-09-2013, 09:54 PM I'll never understand Morgan's fall off and I still don't think RG3 has any confidence in his receivers, I was looking at the NFC East in terms of WR targets and Garcon has 145. By far the most out of any NFC East #1... The next guy with the most targets... Jordan Reed. With 59. Most of the other teams have #2s have targets somewhere in the 80's.
RG3 relies heavily on Garcon, with Reed as the backup. Even injured ass Hankerson has more targets than all the other receivers on this team. Something about that seems off.
**I lied, Moss has 60. So its Garcon, Moss, Reed then Hank and two of those dudes are injured* Blah. We really don't have a number #2WR lol

Crawford will be back too. The NFL is so random and unpredictable. Teams with essentially the same roster routinely go from good to crappy and crappy to good in just a single season. A middle of the pack special teams unit and exceptional play from the QB position and this 3-10 team could easily have 3-4 more wins.
There are some good young pieces to work with. Despite the lack of a first round pick, they should be able to find some starters in the draft and add 4-6 starters via free agency. Plus, we'll play a last place schedule next year. It's not the end of the world. The Skins could be right back in the mix next year.
I am on the 5th stage of grief. Acceptance;)

He doesn't trust that they can jump 5 feet in the air to catch is sail-balls. Maybe that will change when rocket propelled cleats are invented.

Like the Texans, I actually like them. To me they're the good guys in Texas so I feel for them. That organization is in disarray as well, as their team started falling apart right around when Arian Foster got injured. Falcons are also another team that should be good this year but can't ever get their shit together. Essentially all of our teams are generally the same as they were last year, had a decent (if not good) solid core of guys and are going through a complete collapse this year.

They were talking about that during the game, that RG3 said that sometimes hes's going to throw balls high, so the receivers need to be able to get up there to get them. Eh.

If anything, they should be having trouble trusting him and where his balls will land. BUT, I have no doubt about his work ethic and smarts. He'll do everything he can to get better in the off-season and could return to form next year. Wouldn't surprise anyone.

Wait, He habitually overthrows WRs on purpose? That's good for the old completion percentage.

Its because RG waits for the WR to get open instead of anticipating them becoming open. Like when a WR comes out of a break most QB's will throw anticipating they will be open but RG waits until they break turn then get open. By then they are covered so the WR has to keep going to try and get open again.
Some would say that's because he missed so much time but he had had all season to develop chemistry with his WR's. What I have seen they are going backwards.
SBXVII 12-10-2013, 12:59 AM What I'm not seeing RG3 doing and that looking off the defense. Looking at other WR's then throwing to his intended target. No, RG3 takes the snap and will stare down his intended WR while in the pocket and I think this is why we see more batted balls and INT's. Oh and he does not pump fake. God forbid you make the FS/SS run to the wrong side of the field, or pump fake and cause the DL to jump too soon so you can get the ball past them.
having a #2 WR who is pretty much just a blocker is a major problem. It's time to put receivers on the roster to help out our passing game so we can actually move the ball on third downs.
