Coughlin might be the most under-rated coach in the NFL.

We don't want him then. We need people committed to making this work. I believed MS was that guy but all of this shows he's more committed to making himself look good.

I hate Coughlin but he is fantastic. He almost lost that job before he finally figured it all out (how to lead) and then proceeded to win 2 SB with decent but not great teams.

it's not , maybe OC or DC .....Coughlin is there until he wants to leave .Record for starters in one season is 55 ,Giants have had 47this year add in a death of a relative (brother) and it's been an overall bad season .All teams have injuries this year they just could not get around them .All the credit in the world to Coughlin for coaching his ass off when the playoffs weren't a realistic possibility to maintain some level of respectability for something less than $6 million/year in salary. Takes a lot of mental toughness to pull your team out of the crapper.

Someone less tough may have taken the salary and quit on his team. Can't think of anyone though.
