Hog1 12-25-2013, 11:41 AM Fan-atic.......... skinsfaninok 12-25-2013, 12:01 PM Lot of opportunity in Oakland, but its going to be a long climb, particularly on defense. Yeah but if its true that gruden wants to go back there I believe he can get it turned around fast whistler 12-25-2013, 12:20 PM We waited 20 years to get someone who at least looks like a franchise QB...and you want to trade him after year 2? Merry Christmas all! Horton and Whisenhut (not sure of the spelling). Chico23231 12-25-2013, 12:43 PM We waited 20 years to get someone who at least looks like a franchise QB...and you want to trade him after year 2? Nail on the head. It's amazing 30gut 12-25-2013, 11:56 PM Obviously I'm biased in favor of the Skins but I still objectively think DC is the franchise with the most potential that will also be looking for a new HC, with Detroit as a possible tie. I consider the HC job here will be highly sought after. Giantone 12-26-2013, 05:48 AM I consider the HC job here will be highly sought after. By whom ? mbedner3420 12-26-2013, 08:58 AM By whom ? I wouldn't necessarily say it would be a highly sought after spot, but the core of players that is the process of development should be appealing to a lot of coaches. It's the ancillary crap that no one wants to deal with. Hog1 12-26-2013, 09:44 AM By whom ? I assume you are suggesting it would not be? If that is the case.....why would it not be? skinsguy 12-26-2013, 12:23 PM By whom ? By any coach wishing to A) Get paid and B) have the honor of carving out his own legacy by turning around a perennial loser of a team into a winning franchise again. What head coach worth anything would not want to take on that challenge? Also, Snyder has worked pretty hard to turn things around in the front office. Head coaches have no Vinny Cerrato to deal with anymore. That in itself makes the position a lot more attractive for many suitors. The only ones who think the position is not highly sought for are fans from opposing teams - especially in the same division, teams that are trying to grab a new head coach themselves, and the sports media talking heads who don't know what they're talking about. skinsfan69 12-26-2013, 12:34 PM By any coach wishing to A) Get paid and B) have the honor of carving out his own legacy by turning around a perennial loser of a team into a winning franchise again. One of the most well respected former coaches, Tony Dungy, has already said he would never work for an owner like Snyder. I'm sure several people around the league feel the same way. I think it's going to be hard to get one of the big names in here. |
