Who ever the coach is I hope he brings winning here because i am tired of reading stupid comments like this on si.com, espn ,etc...

I am not a Redskins fan...so I love the soap opera that this causes...Let's see what the Redskins problems are...1) They have an owner who knows nothing about running a football team...He's a fan who had a ton of money and used it to buy the team...2) The Redskins are run like a fantasy football team...Look at the way they've obtained players...Always paying too much for the hottest free agents or selling the farm to move up in the draft...RGIII was the hottest QB coming out of the draft last year...Sooo the front office sold the farm to St. Louis to move up to draft RGIII...I said it then...Dumb move...He's too small, he's injury prone (you blow your ACL before your 21...it's going to happen again)...I was called hater and all these other wonderful names..Guess who was right...Anyway not to gloat...3) This team is only good at one thing...creating headlines other than winning football games...Let's see...You have Albert Haynesworth, the Cap Penalty, Jim Zorn's incompetence, etc...etc...Albert Haynesworth should be the model of what not to do with your money...The Cap Penalty...say what you want, how unfair it was to the two teams, the NFL has it out for the Redskins and the Cowboys...I drop the BS card on that quick...The owners had a gentleman's agreement (an unsigned contact) that certain things would not be done...Both of these teams violated that agreement in a pretty egregious manner and were made an example of...You think you have a gripe...Imagine what the Steelers went through...There are two rules named after Steelers players (Hines Ward rule and James Harrison rule)...If you don't know what they are, then you don't follow football enough...soooo quit whining about the cap hit...4) The defense is one of the worst in the league...Unless this team scores 30 points regularly...they are going to lose...Between Wilson and Deangelo Hall, I wouldn't use them to cover a bed much less a professional receiver...They can't tackle, cant cover, cant create pressure...Sounds like a typical Jim Hasslet defense...How does this guy keep getting jobs???...I'll wrap up with this because the Redskins problems are multi-layered...5) RGIII is from a generation that does not know how to interact as a team member...he only understands how to promote himself...This is the entitlement generation that we created...By giving everyone trophies and allowing everyone to be a "winner" we in fact created this monster...He's a ego maniac...He thrives on all the attention being on him...If it's not...there's a problem in his world...He needs therapy not a new coach...The NFL is about performance NOW not what you did in college...

We are just a laughing stock of the NFL. =(

^You let that bother you?

I read that and just hear fear from a division rival. That flat out fear and hope that RG3 is done, because he knows what happened last year, can happen again. I like that post.

My only concern right now is Shanny isnt fired. We got to take that first step and fire everyone on the coaching staff and then make a good hire.

Winston Moss was a really hot HC name two years ago. Haven't heard even a whisper on him this year. Don't think the Redskins are going for a defensive guy, but would like to see them bring him in for an interview, at least.

I don't think Rex can step down and out of the spotlight to be a successful DC. He is an attention whore.

He did at Baltimore. And he has been relatively quiet in his two years at New York. In his first two years, yea he let success get to his head. I think he has been humbled. If he is just responsible for defense, he would be a top 5 coordinator in the NFL.

Phillips maybe but I'm not really sold on his consistency of having good defenses. Rex will be a head coach next year, in NY or elsewhere, or on television. He's not taking a DC job under anyone.

If we weren't coming off of such a PR mess, football/scheme wise, I like a lot of what Ryan does defensively. I think the world may explode with a trio of Snyder/Rex/RG3 though. It would be insufferable media saturation of any and everything done or said but ultimately I think he will find success as a head coach somewhere.

Here are some "Pro's" and "Con's" regarding some of the coaches that are available. Atleast one persons opinion.

I wouldn't be mad if it we hired Wade Phillips; he's running a good defense in Houston even though they have a bad offense. He would certainly be an upgrade over Haslett.
