Fiversons 12-09-2013, 06:48 PM \I have extreme outrage for Dan Snyder, unfortunately he isnt going anywhere so I learned a long time ago to leave that anger alone. On top of that, Snyder has been invisible for four years until MS found himself on the hotseat and all of the sudden there is this crap ass soap opera bullshit about him and RG-3 being in bed together and undermining Mike? Bullshit. Mike lost the ship because he is a poor coach/draft guy and now is grasping for straws. Griff is a 24 year old kid getting his ass handed to him on a weekly basis because of the pourous oline Mike built in front of him. Even if they are all to blame I expect more couth from my headcoach than i do from a 24 year old kid or from an owner. Fuck Mike and the horse he rode in on.
I agree... Mike deserves to fired twice over... The whole thing stinks, and I blame all of them... And to think this last year was an aberration... It just sucks to be in the same boat what seems like a 4 to 5 year cycle of suckiness, then we get hot and make a good run, really feel positive about moving forward just for the same thing to happen...

Yup. Its brutal. I really thought we had turned a corner. We were getting Rak, and Carriker, and BW back. Another year in the 3-4 under our belts. Consistency in the coaching staff. Griff was gonna b healthy and even if he wasnt ready for week one I liked what I saw out of Cousins and felt confident he would do until Griff was ready. We had addressed the secondary through the draft. Seemed like a 10-6 team that was trouncing Seattle until Griffs injury was going to only get better. I mean we didnt lose anyone. Than - Bam - week one we got our asses handed to us and never recovered. By far the most dissapointing season Ive witnessed imo.
HailGreen28 12-09-2013, 07:06 PM 0-16 sounds better to me than 3-13 coupled with this circus sideshow to tell you the truth. Those teams fought and tried to win. They did not quit. They were not embarrassed by their headcoach.Didn't teams that went 0-14 and 0-16 have the same controversy over the team quitting? Coaches job security? Fans taking out billboards to beg a coach or owner be replaced? Seems to me you don't get a worse record than us without the team quitting or everybody being embarrassed.
This is still disgraceful, it just hurts more because it's happening to us, and we shouldn't tolerate it.

Im not saying those teams were good. Those teams however were not coming off of 10-6, division winning seasons, in situations where things seemed to be on the upswing. Ofcourse coaches lose their jobs when they have seasons like that, but there aint circus music playing in the background. I dont really remember that Bucs team, but I bet they fought tooth and nail for a W up till the end. I do not remember the Lions quitting either. They just sucked. This is different. If anything I compare us more to the current Texans, Falcons teams in terms of dissapointment. But even there it is not a God damn media circus like it is here.

I blame the same thing for the circus now, as the circuses in years past. It starts with our owner, and ends with the media and fans. That's been the case before Shanahan, and probably afterwards. LOL at the same media fanning the flames of our situation asking Shanny and others "Gee, why is there so much talk in the media about this controversy?"
To be fair, I haven't heard Snyder say anything bad about this situation, just media rumors. We'll see what happens.
over the mountain 12-09-2013, 09:18 PM i think mike did well in the press conference under the circumstances.
i think it is not as bad as we are thinking and speculating.
i think mike and bruce did a good job drafting.
im guessing a regime change will happen after week 17.

Dude, really?
I have always prided myself in the fact that I will wear my Skins gear after a loss as much as I would after a win. I am no fair weather fan, but I couldn't do it today. It is just too hard to deal with today. The Skins are an embarrassment. There is no nice way to say that. It is not the "Chicken Little" group overreacting. The Washington Redskins are the worst organization in the NFL, right now. It is a fact.
Hijinx 12-09-2013, 09:59 PM Yeah, I don't think anything is worst than being 0-16.
Actually there is, being 0-16 in a big market like Washington or New York.
Things are very bad for our team, but let's not be over dramatic here.
I would rather be 0-16, if the Skins had a first round pick next year.
