I totally agree, but when have we ever had a Coach that leaked info constantly too ESPN? Did he think that was never gonna be an issue?
Has Shanny done that in the past? It's hard to navigate around the nonsense to get to the truth, but how much of a problem was Shanny's personality in Denver? Has be always been known to be backhanded? Or is this new behavior in DC? I'm hesitant to put too much blame on Shanahan. Not saying he's a good coach, but there's a difference between failure and malevolence.

Do you know this for sure, or are you just assuming he wasn't drawing up plays for Kyle?

I am assuming. And even if he did who cares? Do we actually think any coach would quietly accept such "advice"? No, especially not when MS is involved.

Why not? You're aware of how this works everywhere else? Intimate knowledge?
You don't know a damn thing about Cooke. Stop acting like you do. You THINK things. Some of them good, some of the dumb like everyone else.
So you're saying Russell Wilson goes and hangs out with Paul Allen? lol. I doubt that's happening.
From everything I've heard Cooke didn't associate with the players at all.

What is the big deal? They were both out in Dallas and had dinner.
Again, to me it's just wrong for an owner to hang out with a rookie QB. Now if it's Tom Brady or Peyton Manning? ...an established vet? I can understand. It's plain old common sense.

I agree with Chico. If we can give Bruce Allen a chance next year with a full salary cap, he'll fix a lot of holes on this team. We have a very good, young core and can can be good for years to come once we get the supporting cast. It was impossible to build a competitive team with that cap penalty.
Special teams especially suffered. We couldn't afford to keep Lorenzo Alexander and that was a huge hit to that unit. We couldn't afford a solid #2 WR. We had to just live with the scrubs on the offensive line and at safety. Depth was another thing lost. Once we had a few injuries to guys like Carricker, Bowen, Thomas, there was simply no one behind them and our decent preseason depth chart was obliterated.
Disaster year but believe it or not, this team is in the right direction. It may not be an easy job, but we have some bright spots for the future.
Hopefully we'll switch back to a 4-3, using Kerrigan and Orakpo in their natural DE positions to do what they do best. We'll get a good complementary WR for Garcon. Griffin, Morris and Reed will continue to succeed.
An offensive line is one thing we've been missing since our great squad of Jon Jansen, Chris Samuels, Randy Thomas, Derrick Dockery and Ray Brown. Vinny seemed to completely disregard the need for it, thinking weapons alone can make a good offense. We just couldn't afford upgrades the past couple years. I fully expect an overhaul outside of Trent coming.

Not sure about Denver, but his relationship with Schefter and Graziano is close. He may have also just been a much better coach 15 years ago.

Sends the wrong message to the team that one player is above all. Also, if Bob was such a great leader, don't you think he would avoid situations that would alienate him from his teammates?

What does it matter is the point? Why would it matter if they ate dinner together? Who would DS be allowed to hang out with in this magical unicorn land of strict compartmentalization? Why is it a bad thing? Could it in any way be a good thing?

And what message is that? I think most pro players know starting QBs ARE above the rest of the team. You think Tom Brady with his super model wife, endorsements and pretty hair is just one of the guys to other players? Probably not, but the question is whether the other players respect him when it comes to football. They do. And our team respects Rob.

People just want to find something to bitch about.
