Shanahan and Kubiak both suck right now. I really hope the Skins do not get Gruden.

Hog1 12-02-2013, 07:11 PM Houston under Kubiak: 2012: 12-4* 2011: 10-6* 2010: 6-10 2009: 9-7 2008: 8-8 2007: 8-8 2006: 6-10 Definition of "pretty awesome reg. season team" -- 52% Winning percentage (59-53) and two play-off appearances. ... Goat's use of hyperbole and selective memory? Awesome! Cmon Man! You get kicked in the nuts...Every day and see if it doesn't F your memory up....... DirtBagZ 12-02-2013, 08:52 PM I voted Art Briles, but after more thought I think Darrell Bevell would be a better candidate. Hopefully the Skins get lucky for once and find the next guy to be like Joe Gibbs 1.0 and bring 3 more Lombardi trophies to DC. CrustyRedskin 12-02-2013, 08:58 PM Ed Orgeron NC_Skins 12-02-2013, 09:14 PM Ed Orgeron You mean the guy who resigned after the USC AD passed him over for the HC job? Not to mention he was going to make him the highest paid assistant in the nation. He's not going to be getting any HC jobs in the NFL at this point in time. SFREDSKIN 12-02-2013, 10:21 PM Darrell Bevell is looking better and Better especially if Shaw decides to stay at Stanford. The true test is next week here in SF when Seattle plays the Niners. Brody81 12-02-2013, 10:32 PM Starting over is hard to do. We have to buck the trend and stand behind our coaching staff through the fire. Maybe Shanny is not the answer... if he isn't the Redskins need to bring someone in young enough to stick around and grow for the long run. Don't make decision based off fan and media opinions. This. Hue Jackson 4. Art Briles 5. Jay Gruden sdskinsfan2001 12-02-2013, 11:15 PM If we had to make a move from Shanny my top 5 would be 1. David Shaw 2. Bill O'Brien 3. Hue Jackson 4. Art Briles 5. Jay Gruden I never thought about Bill O'Brien, I like that choice, I'd put him above Shaw. Something about Shaw's personality doesn't come off as NFL coach to me (just my perspective). Mike Tomlin would be my ideal choice if at all possible, but that's a loooooonnnngg shot he leaves Pittsburgh, let alone comes here. donofriose 12-02-2013, 11:19 PM Bill O'Brien sure wouldn't be afraid of getting in the face of the franchise QB, no matter how popular he may be. I would love that attitude. But it always is risky going after coordinators of Bill. |
