They were playing lousy before that, so do you just not want to pick on him? Is that why you're giving him leeway?

Well, there had to be some reason, outside of coaching, for Kubiak's poor results because we all know Shanahan is, will be and always has been the worst coach in any sport at anytime throughout recorded history.

Plus, his daddy kicked Goat in the nuts every day for a year.

That explains it!

TIA's are scary. Mom had one several years ago so I feel for Kubiak.

He also produced really good teams in the last decade. Deserves quite a lot more leeway than Shanahan IMO. Same goes for Mike Smith. Doesn't sound like he's on the hot seat though.

I know all about TIAs, has hit my family hard.

As for Kubiak's past decade, I mean he's been average in my opinion

Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully nobody in the fam had a stroke after the TIA, that's the scariest part from what I know?

The Texans were a pretty awesome reg season team up to this year, always a disappointment in the playoffs though.

Yes, they did and yes it is

They were awesome in the regular season the last two seasons, pretty much .500 before that. Either way, what does it matter if they can't deliver in the playoffs?

Kubiak doesn't do much for me

Just to be clear I wasn't advocating Kubiak in DC (for any position).

Houston under Kubiak:
2012: 12-4*
2011: 10-6*
2010: 6-10
2009: 9-7
2008: 8-8
2007: 8-8
2006: 6-10

Definition of "pretty awesome reg. season team" -- 52% Winning percentage (59-53) and two play-off appearances.

... Goat's use of hyperbole and selective memory?

Awesome!

The shocking reveal ... Goat thinks Shanny is worse than every coach ever!
