“You don’t say anything to the guys when it comes to that [leadership],” Griffin said. “The second you start changing and letting what outside people say affect what you do is the time that guys start to not believe in you. So you don’t do that. You go out to practice every day ready to work. Me and [Moss] talked. We’re on the same page and we just want to beat San Francisco. That’s all that matters to us right now.”
Love the kid....and yeah, he's the real deal

He's had wr's open, he's just not pulling the trigger. Or when he does he's not accurate. He's had two guys who watch more film ( Jaws and Cosell) than anyone around basically call him out. Even Sonny said he should be benched. Some of it is the line and some of it is Kyle's stupid ass two man routes, but there's been many instances where RG3 just hasn't done the job. Then he throws the worst pass he's ever thrown and blames it on the wr's not being open. Time to man up on Mon RG3. No more excuses.
The film never lies.

In Kyle's defense, RGIII commonly does not get past his first read, making additional receivers in the pattern pointless. Why have a third option if the QB will never see him?

Seriously, because all a young QB needs is more reads, right? Let's just bombard him with options since he hasn't even mastered QB reads 101 yet. Makes sense.

The third year will tell the story. If he continues to struggle next year, we will have wasted 2 first round picks for a bust!! Knowing our luck, we are screwed!!

I think it is sort of too early to call Griffin a bust....I think what we are seeing around the league is that QB's like RG3, Kaepernick, appear to be a one year wonder. Kaepernick is struggling this year. They all deserve to have another year..
But if RG3 gets worse next year - i wouldn't call him a bust. He could be just an average QB, that could do well if we build an entire team....
Too early to call the reigning rookie of the year a bust eh?

No he is not, and I have said this in other threads. By the time you build a decent offensive line and give the guy some actual decent receivers, he is going to bolt period. Odds are that he is going to ask for more money and I am not sure we should give it to him. This is the team sport of team sports and RG III is useless if the guys around him are total puds. Also let's face another possibility, just like Spurrier destroyed Ramsey, maybe Shanny might have destroyed RG III. The next HC might say away with you and go with Cousins or draft his own guy. If Robert can bounce back like Cam did after his sophomore slump then this is all moot, but if the team continues to stink, he needs to be cut loose.

I would trade him for a pair of second round picks and feel I got a bargain

I would take back the trade rite now if given the chance. Maybe Griff will still be great, and worth the picks. But if given the opportunity rite now id take back the trade. I dont blame Shanny for it though either way. I was 100 percent for it at the time.
