diehardskin2982 11-21-2013, 12:35 PM Rehab may take a significant part of his offseason time but that should not limit him from studying film, the playbook, opposing defenses or concentrating on mechanics. I relate it to Tiger fixing his golf swing while coming back from injury. You have to practice mechanic in once cleared to throw. Not revert, and blame it on the knee.

He watched plenty of film and got the mental reps, I don't think that was the issue. But when you can't practice what you're watching it doesn't do a ton of good.
I'm pretty sure the majority of his time was spent on rehab, just learning how to walk and run again and he wasn't going full speed and cutting hard until he got close to camp. Again, hard to work on mechanics under those circumstances. Nothing really simulates going full speed in a practice with no limitations.
NC_Skins 11-21-2013, 01:50 PM Chris Cooley instructs Redskins: ‘If you want to be here, you better… get along with Robert Griffin IIIā€¯ (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2013/11/21/chris-cooley-instructs-redskins-if-you-want-to-be-here-you-better-get-along-with-robert-griffin-iii/)
“I think if you want to be here,” Cooley said, “you better find a way to get along with Robert Griffin III.”
Wonder if Kyle has gotten this memo yet.
“Everything is noticed,” he said. “It’s getting close to being really interesting. I think we’re on the fringe of a breaking point between the coaching staff, team and the quarterback. One win would fix it.”
A win in prime time would go a long way to possibly getting things stabilized. This team is desperate for something good to go their way.

Didn't it take him almost two years to revert back to form? I remember a lot of people thinking he was done after that car accident.

Unfortunately we almost always take an enormous shit in the bed on prime time.
I mean like at least 20 courics.
htownskinfan 11-21-2013, 02:24 PM I believe the organization believes RG3 is the franchise qb.
But things need to get under control in that locker room.I said it weeks ago and I still believe it,I think RG3 can be a prima donna and his ego is out of control. So many reports coming out that he's lost the locker room, with Moss's comments and RG3's after the game, its not looking good.
I wish RG3 would have been benched at halftime and the next game too.Sometimes a qb needs to sit on the bench a while and observe and maybe he would get his ego in check.
And I dont believe that bs he said after the game, that he was trying to throw it out of the endzone. He was under pressure and threw it up for grabs and now he's trying to cover his ass.
Also he said after the game no one was open on the play and he didnt have time, which is a subtle shot at his line and receivers.I havent seen the video, but I heard that Helu was open on the play.
He needs to keep his mouth shut to the media and talk to the players to clear things up,thats what a leader would do.
Well now reports are everythings under control in the locker room. And I see its reported he did have a talk with Moss,so thats a step in right direction.
punch it in 11-21-2013, 02:31 PM an enormous shit in the bed.
Ewwwwww......
skinsfan69 11-21-2013, 02:39 PM I know Kyle will never do this, but trash the RO, 3 men in the back field shit for a week. Spread out the field, mix in hurry up and run what he ran at Baylor. That's where he seems most comfortable. Run what he wants, not what they want. The season is lost so why not?

Tigers knee surgery was at the end of June 2008, one week after he won the US Open over Rocco Mediate at Torrey Pines. BTW, that is the last major TW has won. That started TW's longest time away from competitive golf. Even when TW started his return he had to curtail his practice and play because his knee still gave him problems and didnt allow him to practice how and how much he needed to.
Watching film is fine but there no substitute for actual reps and building muscle memory. RG3 needed reps last offseason and he didnt get them. Hopefully he gets out of this season healthy and gets those reps.
