These clowns trying to destroy him, but Shannahan is horrible. Shanny might be tapped out. We have 6 more games to see. Not me... I have said since day 1 he will be a stud, I'd take him today over Kaep and Wilson for the next 10 years NC_Skins 11-19-2013, 03:34 PM RG3 had a terrible game Sunday no doubt but he still had almost 300 yards and 2 tds.. That is a great game for R Wilson though I don't think R Wilson could hold Robert's jock strap. Give Robert that defense and put Wilson on this team and lets see the results. Defense goes a long way. One day he's a hero next he's a problem that's how it sounds like around here No, I don't think he's the problem around here, but he does contribute to it. My only beef is with his constant babbling to the media where he needs to really shut the hell up. Bucket 11-19-2013, 03:34 PM I don't know. Sounds like RG3 was praising the eagles, more than bashing the coaches. lol. I guess people just want to see the evil. skinsfaninok 11-19-2013, 03:36 PM Not calling you out NC I was speaking as in general and I agree with u about Wilson, again for the 1 millionth time, I like RW as a QB but dude is never asked to do anything like RG3 or Luck is asked to do. RG III facing different challenges - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/3013/rg-iii-facing-different-challenges) Bucket 11-19-2013, 03:37 PM After next weeks game. RG3 would of thrown the ball more than he did all last year. Nice little tid bit of information. skinsfaninok 11-19-2013, 03:37 PM Our first year everyone played us with eight-man fronts, sometimes almost nine-man fronts,” Shanahan said. “When you do that you have guys wide open like we did last year. That’s one reason the play-action was so good. This year [teams are saying], ‘We’re playing you more passing and you have to earn the right in that run game.’ Which we’ve been able to do. You’re not always going to get that deep ball so you have to dump it off and be patient. That’s part of the NFL. No matter what quarterback you’re going against, no matter what system you go against, you have to relate or adjust your game plan accordingly. That’s one of the reasons we ran the ball so much against a team that was very good at stopping the run.” MTK 11-19-2013, 03:40 PM How about the other balls that sailed over receivers hands? The bomb he overthrew Robinson on that would have tied up the game? How about the fumble where he held the ball too long? (yes, I know Helu half assed the block) It was more than just that one throw. He's not the first because Cam Newton did the exact same thing last year, after he blew a chance to win a game by throwing a ball in the dirt with Olsen wide open in the end zone. Needless to say, Cam got raked across the coals and rightfully so. Tell me, do you hear any flap from Luck? Tannehill? Wilson? Any of them? This young excuse is just that. An excuse. Time for Robert to put on the big boy pants and suck it up. He wants the fame, the glory, the commercials, but also wants to deflect the blame. Fuck that. Take the heat. Yes, I do agree with him about the play calling and yes I'm ready for Kyle and several other coaches to move on. However, you aren't going to endear yourself to the fans, public, or any future coaches by saying the stuff he's said over the coarse of the past year. You'd thought he'd learn from the whole kneegate issue, and the crap over the training camp. It's not hard to just shut the fuck up. Really, it's not. What's he supposed to do, go through a laundry list of his mistakes and apologize for each one? At this point anything he says is going to get picked apart. He wasn't right in his comments but I don't think it's the end of the world either. NC_Skins 11-19-2013, 03:41 PM I don't know. Sounds like RG3 was praising the eagles, more than bashing the coaches. lol. I guess people just want to see the evil. I'm not sure how you can construe it any other way. It's not taking the evil out of it, and he certainly wasn't saying it to praise the Eagles. How do I know? BECAUSE WHAT HE SAID WAS THE FRIGGING TRUTH. Our coaches were out-coached, and they were out-schemed. They didn't change shit from the first game and we still got our asses handed to us after 10 days of prep time. It still doesn't change the fact that he needs to really shut the hell up. Trust me, he doesn't need to argue his plight about coaching to the media. Anybody can look at this product and see something is wrong with it beyond just players. That'll work itself out in time, he just needs to perform. Bucket 11-19-2013, 03:43 PM The bomb was to Garcon wasn't it? I remember him being held with two hands and no call. Which slowed the route. Maybe it was Robinson, but I remember the play on the left sideline. I remember the DB holding just for a second our WR. Which ennded in a incomplete pass. |
