man something good needs to happen for the skins badd u guys are getting pissy!

As for Sean T. The kid was compared favorably to Ronnie Lott, and called A"Ray Lewis" at safety. These are argueably the 2 of the best defensive players to ever play the game so give the kid time to earn some respect then do over his deal, I don't want him going to another team any time soon

Just say hypothetically we did switch to a 3-4, which by the way i hope we don't do.

So you want to play Taylor and Arrington at OLB, what exactly are you going to do with our Pro Bowl OLB Marcus Washington? Sit him on the bench?

Taylor is an exceptional Safety, and will be the best in the league if not in 2005 then in 2006. People are scared of him already, leave him where he is and let him do his thing in the secondary.

I am sorry if I came off as trying to be an expert. I dont see a reason to change our defense, especially in that direction. Some people love linebackers so much, that they would sacrifice anything to get more out there. And then to multiply the error, they would want to take our stud at safety and waste him on an outside linebacker spot. I dont want to see Petigout throwing Sean to the ground, when Seans greatest strength is his speed, and 6th sense for where the ball is. Sean is so talented at being where the ball is, I feel that it's important to give him a better view of the play, 15 yards back.

My argument wasnt that I know anything, but that anyone thinking a 3-4 switch would be beneficial, must not.

Thanks for the support Dasael.

It's a nice thought but there's absolutely no need to move Taylor to another position, and the chance of it happening is zero to none.

Moving taylor to OLB is not even nuts. Nuts would be moving him to CB or something like that. Moving him to OLB would grounds for a kick to the head. He is an average at best LB. He doesn't have the size nor strength to be a force. His asstes are his size and strength RELATIVE to others at his position and the players he covers. At LB he is small...not undersized...small. Fast and small linebackers don't suceed in the NFL. That's why they are moved to safety usually.

Good point FRLPG, as a LB he would be undersized at 230, but at safety he's huge.

Put him at LB and he's going to have to deal with 300 LB lineman, while at safety he has the room to best use his skills.

Not to say he isn't completely jacked, but Taylor derives a lot of his hitting ability from sheer momentum.

Yeah, that and a nasty streak the likes of which I've never seen!

Just to go off topic for a second if I may, you all remember that whole thing about ST saying he only knew how to sing the alphabet and some of us calling him a "meathead"?

Well maybe so, but Taylor's got nothing on O's pitcher Eric Dubose:

From the Baltimore Sun-"When instructed to recite the alphabet, DuBose allegedly said, "I'm from Alabama, and they have a different alphabet."

Well, in a sense he is right. They almost speak a different language down there in Alabama. I've been there before, and I had a hard time understanding some people. And then people had a hard time understanding my "northern" accent. I told them I was from VA and it was considered the south, but they didn't really buy that. They don't consider VA as being part of the south for some reason. Maybe it's because we sound a little more educated up here. Who knows.
