If we had kept him, the kickoff situation would probably be better, but then we wouldn't have a reliable field goal kicker like Forbath. Hocker's career field goal percentage in college was 77.2. In his junior year, he was 11 for 18. Yeah. Meanwhile Forbath is at 86.7% for his career and is 4-5 this year. Likely, keeping Hocker over Forbath would have fixed one problem but created another.
