This is an interesting nugget, and it says something about this franchise that we hold our kickers to a much higher standard than our other players or our coaches.

It's not that we can't find a kicker, it's that any kicker we find is going to miss a few FGs. And we've decided that's unacceptable. But players/coaches that make mistakes? They just need more time. It's a weird double standard that has been here since the Cerrato days.

This is actually probably really interesting, and pretty true. I'll say this, out of our last few kickers; releasing Gano I didn't really understand for Cundiff, and he's doing pretty well in Carolina. Shaun Suisham I still dislike to this day; and he needed to go. Guy choked in the biggest situations.

I know Forbath hasn't been great this year, but field goal wise, I'm still pretty happy with him. He also tends to be pretty clutch. However, I'm 100% on board with carrying two kickers and just letting Potter boot it out of the endzone. Forbath is a liability on kickoffs.

SO true. Typically, I'm firmly against having two kickers, but in this case if it was all but guaranteed he'd boot into the end zone, I'd be all over it.

I think whoever wins the NFC East is an easy out in the first round. You'll likely be facing a wild card team of Carolina, SF, Green Bay (With Rodgers back) or Detroit.

I've never been one for reseeding the playoffs, and I think you should be rewarded for winning your division...but its really going to be something that one of these four teams will get to host a playoff game like Seattle did in 2010 with a 9-7 record or worse.

Detrioit and SF are beatable if they are on the road.

Guaranteed for whoever wins the NFCE IMO. Who'd of thunk it'd be the worst division in football and the NFCW would be near/at the top??

If you had to flip a coin, 9/10 I'd say the above statement is accurate. But, you never know, one of teams in the East may pull a Seahawks-esque game out of their pocket, and beat a team they had no business competing against. Of all those that potentially could, I think its either us or the eagles.

Once a team gets into the playoffs anything can happen which is why its important to get into the playoffs no matter what.
