It doesn't excuse how bad our D is. Look at the stats link I posted earlier, check out our D rankings during Haslett's tenure. We've been bad on D, plain and simple. I'm not saying the D is great or blameless, but some of the problems by the offense has not help them period. As I said before, one unit cannot carry the other. The defense has a lot of holes (big issues at ILB and Safety), and they've had a lot of bad moments. However, they have had their good moments as well.
