I honestly dont really buy into it too much either. But espn loved to show that as the turning point in our season.

The difference between the two is Gibbs was smart enough to get one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL and still can't win.

It was his first year back after being out of the game for 12 years. Get over last year. Stop crying about it and move on.

Notice the ? mark, skinsfan? I said Arrington not there? If that's true, then he's a bad team leader (oh wait, he's a bad team leader anyways.)

Nice try, but wrong yet again. What you said was:
"Arrington not there? What a great team leader he is!" I don't see a "if that's true, then ...." anywhere in your post. What you did was take the speculation of another member and used it as an opportunity to rip a player that 90% of Skins fans dont' have a problem with, because that's what you do. I mean come on, if you are going to make asinine comments, at least stand behind them later.

Oh, and Spurrier is an idiot.
Coles is a spoiled brat.
And the team that you would have the Skins put together wouldn't win a game in 3 seasons.

And if your memory is failing you, Two years ago it was Arrington who got in the face of his teamates on the bus on the way home from a road loss when he was disgusted by the fact that almost everyone else on the team seemed satisfied to play like crap, show no heart or dedication, lose a game, and then joke around and have a good time on the way home as if nothing was wrong. Nobody else on that Skins team gave a crap about winning or putting in an honest day's work. And it was ARRINGTON who called them all on it. He wasn't yelling about how he wanted more money (ala Coles) or how he disagreed with his coach's playcalling (ala Coles), or how his stats weren't up to where he wanted them (ala Coles). He was trying to get his team to play inspired football for once because their coach (moron Spurrier) wouldn't say "boo" to any one of them because it could have led to an argument that would have made him late for his tee time. So you (who support Spurrier and Coles) are THE VERY LAST person who should be passing any judgment on who is a good team leader for the Skins.

So who is a leader on the Skins then?? I'd love to hear who has taken the team on his back.

That's really not the point of what got this thread really going. Point was some people speculated LaVar was in the 10% of players who weren't at the voluntary sessions.

Fair enough speculation given he skipped out on some last year.

Surprise, surprise, turns out he is one of the 90% in attendance. The doubters could at least admit they were wrong in their speculation.

Do we have to get into a pissing contest over everything? The board has really been on edge lately, if we could lace 'em up and get on the field I think we would kick some serious ass, LOL.

Maybe a forum to forum matchup, Warpath vs. hR, or Warpath vs. Extremeskins, LOL
