Nate Burleson says Dez Bryant of Dallas Cowboys is not as good as Calvin Johnson of Detroit Lions - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9866088/nate-burleson-says-dez-bryant-dallas-cowboys-not-good-calvin-johnson-detroit-lions)

I dont know if anyone has heard the back and forth this week with Dez better than Megatron, but com'on man. Its laughable. Anybody see Megatron beat triple coverage last week? Dez will never be as good as Megatron, NEVER.

I'm skeptical if Dez is even top 5.

Oh and I'm so glad we got Kerrigan over Gabbert. I remember come draft time we were rumored to be high on Blaine Gabbert. Thank god we didn't take him. Or ponder.

But we did pass on JJ Watt which also stings.

Jason Campbell is getting the start against KC

I really hope he does well. Was not a big fan of his at the end of his tenure here but he seems like a nice guy and i thought he kind of got shafted in Oakland

I would love for Jason to find his niche with a team and stick with it. I mean, Rich Gannon was a journeyman before he found his place in Oakland, and I know there's been quite a few other QBs to move around the NFL before finally finding a good home. Jason is a nice guy and could turn into a decent game managing QB if he can find the right place.

Dez Bryant is definitely a top-5 receiver. I'm with you, skinsfaninok, he's a beast.

Christian Ponder is most likely starting against Green Bay. I'm not sure if that's good or bad for Minnesota.

1. Calvin Johnson
Julio jones, AJ Green, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald.

There's also demarius Thomas, Wes Welker who can be thrown into the top 5. Won't say Dez is or isn't top 5, but is rather have the first five over him, because they are more consistent and can keep their head on straight.

I thought JJ Watt went third overall to the Texans? I might be mistaken on that one though. Edit: I have a terrible memory apparently, JJ Watt went to the Texans with the 11th overall pick, which was 1 pick after our original draft slot.

Also I think a whole nation of Skins fans are glad we went with Kerrigan over Gabbert. And if this article (http://fanspeak.com/washingtonredskins/2011/11/11/revisiting-the-ryan-kerrigan-trade/) I'm quoting is correct, we not only got Kerrigan out of the deal, we also got Hankerson, Helu, and Aldrick Robinson in it too. So it's definitely safe to say we got lucky in this deal.

In the end with the Redskins on the clock with the 10th spot in the draft and QB Blaine Gabbert (considered by some to be the top QB in the draft) was still on the board, they chose to move back 6 spots with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and picked up their 2nd rounder in the process. The Redskins used the 16th pick on OLB Ryan Kerrigan and in a series of trades turned that mid-2nd round pick into WR Leonard Hankerson, RB Roy Helu, WR Aldrick Robinson, G Maurice Hurt* (note: The Redskins used one of their own picks in the deal to move up and get Helu, but the other two picks came from the trading back process, the easiest way to look at it is the Redskins began the draft with a 1st, 2nd, two 5th's, a 6th and three 7th's, they ended draft weekend with a 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th, two 5th's, tw0 6th's and 4 7th's). Let's check into to see how the players involved are doing.
