Does the NRA promote the 2nd amendment ?The NRA has something to do with every gun issue in this country .
Regardless of the NRA's position, the 2nd Amendment exists. Regardless of the NRA:
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
This is an individual right belonging to any citizen of any State or of these United States ... so sayeth the Constitution and the Supreme Court.
Regardless, Zimmerman is still, in the immortal words of RR, a "twitchy-fingered curtain hanger" who will end up shooting someone or getting himself shot.
