After a nite to reflect:
Good: griffin on the run - looked like he had a burst and was getting out of bounds when he had to
D-hall, and really the d in general
Rocca looked good
Bad: garcon got schooled
Rg-3's accuracy
Edit: how could i forget clock management - just God awful
Playcalling was out of a comic book, mainly the all time headscratcher of a decision to abandon the no huddle against a very thin d front that was on its heels with Ware in the game - the first drive when they were not winded!
Redzone offense
Penalties/ discipline
We seem to be kinda stalled out between our 30 and opponents 30. We have no deep ball so we can't throw for TDs. We can't rush all game. We might as well be playing with no O-line. PLaycalling goes from abysmal to decent, then back to abysmal. There was some play that was like 2 and 10 or 3 and long, and we called some sort of shotgun draw. Come on, really man? You know we don't have the blocking for a draw play to work.
I've never seen a team rack up so many yards and then completely stall out in the opponents end of the field. Through 5 games don't we only have 1 first half TD? What in the world kind of statistic is that?

Can't run a no huddle all game. Especially when RG3 can barely find the right reads when you do huddle. He's not reading defenses very good right now. He missed a wide open PG for a score, and missed a WIDE OPEN Jordan Reed for a score last night.
Garcon had a lot of nice plays last night, and wouldn't say he got schooled. You can't really listen to the announcers much. If RG3 actually hits him on the post route he's open on. He scores, and has 140+ yards.
It's amazing how one play can play out one way or another..
Also, Kehl blew his knee out on the punt return TD. In which, he was in route to make the tackle on Harris. Talk about getting punched in the mouth on one play.

Man, do we wish we still had Lorenzo Alexander. That $18 million penalty is till hurting us.
Also, is it just me? Or do the rest of you wonder why all of our kick off return guys want to bring it out from 8 yards deep only to get to the 13 yard line???????
Isn't there an unwritten rule that if you are more than 3 or 4 yards deep you take a knee?
No its not just you, thats another special team coaching problem.I would have specific instructions,if the ball is more than 3 ft deep, dont bring it out!! or expect a fine
I was so grateful when the kickoff would be so deep or out that they werent tempted to bring it out
Also I would have Moss returning punts and I would give Aldrick Robinson a chance at kickoffs,at least he has the speed to go somewhere with it

Lets all slow the RG3 is a bust talk. Last yr we were all praising him like he was Elway. Now just because he's having a tough start he's a bum.
Too early for bust talk. But right now he isn't even better than Tannehill. Some of his passes looked like a high school QB would throw. He needs some help but he left too many plays our there last night.

Go Inside the Locker Room with Robert Griffin III (http://www.redskins.com/media-gallery/videos/Go_Inside_the_Locker_Room_with_Robert_Griffin_III/d299d914-1dc4-4770-ad50-eeb7b1bea3f4)
Good post game interview with Rob. Notice he said some of those passes have to be caught. He also took credit for some of those errant passes as well.

Alarming stat...
Griffin has only 19 snaps under center when the team has been winning. Out of a total of 341 offensive snaps.
Yeah............. Talk about playing from behind.

One positive about RG3 last night is his legs look damn near 100%.
One negative about RG3 last night is he gave Mark Sanchez a run for his money in terms of pocket passing and awareness.

More alarming is he has more fumbles than any other player in the league since 2012 (yes even more than David Wilson)

Yeah. I'm thinking we got spoiled last year, but RG3 has a lot of growing pains to go through and it showed tonight as well. He tried to take the team on his shoulders and I commend him for that because that is what I want in a QB, but he missed to many plays tonight and now we have everyone calling for the coaches. The coaches didn't miss those plays, miss tackles, and jump offsides.
The biggest thing is we lack a huge play maker because we we don't have the funds to bring one in. Either on defense or offense. We have a lot of solid players that play well, but we don't have a Dez Bryant, or a Sean Lee.
Also, people want to bash the Offensive Line, but RG3 mental clock is off. He held the ball way to long last night on many different occasions.
