Before RG lost his nerve four things stood out on our team this game, this season, and basically for mikes whole tenure in DC: bad oline play, horrible play-calling and clock mgmt, and bad defense. Coaching is the problem, period. Everybody watching the game at my place says you see plenty of talent on the field. Players are not the problem. I bet if you put RGIII in a traditional drop back and pass kind of system, he would do just fine. The coaches don't think he can do it, otherwise we'd run the offense we ran against Cleveland. KI Skins Fan 10-13-2013, 11:44 PM Special Teams have been an unmitigated disaster all season. Against Oakland, we had a blocked punt returned for a touchdown against us. Tonight we had a Special Teams Trifecta. First, a penalty that caused us to have to re-punt. Then the punt was returned for a touchdown and then, during the return, the Special Teams coach got a 15-yard penalty for obstructing an official. That is truly incredibly bad. Not to mention the 90-yard kickoff return that led to a Dallas touchdown. That's 14 points of Special Teams meltdown in this game alone. We also have no return game whatsoever.
