And be on the field to do so.

Yeah, I'm kind of hoping that the bye has healed them. I haven't seen any injury reports which say so, though.

if u look at our schedule really the hardest games left are DENVER , KC AND SF. Other than those 3 it's not that hard

I have no doubt RG will improve as the season goes on (barring injury of course), but that's my worry with this game. Not sure a two week break is what RG needed, isn't it harder to shake the rust off with another break from live action?

This is the game that turns the 'skins season around.

I'm with you skinsguy, division games are always hard fought games but we do enough to WIN.

I don't really think we'll win this game, especially if Romo plays as well as he did against Denver. But if we do win, I will be very happy. Our record will be 2-3, with Chicago coming next. After that is Denver, but then comes a string of three straight winnable games: San Diego, Minnesota, and Philadelphia. So, if we win this game, 6-4 isn't impossible when we play San Francisco. After SF, is the Giants, Chiefs, Falcons, Cowboys, and Giants. At least one of the last five will be a loss. So if it plays out like I hope it will, our record will be 10-6; most likely good enough to win the division. If we lose to both the Chiefs and Falcons, we need to win the rest of our division games so if it comes down to the divisional tiebreaker, we still have a shot. This is all speculation, though, as any of these games could turn out differently.

This is a very important game. If we lose, the playoffs are all but out of reach. If we do lose, how many of you think the playoffs are a possibility?

I think it's just the opposite. It's like the 4th preseason game. The players have a chance to reset before the season. My expectation is that Griffin wasn't thrilled with his play the first 4 weeks, and took time outside of the pressure of week to week football to self scout his play. And the extra week puts him on par now for the later dates of when he would have come back.

I think he was making small strides each week, and the national stage will set up nicely for him and the Skins as a whole.

Well, we'll be at full strength. That means this team talent wise will be at its best, this Sunday.

Count me the skeptic at this point. Until I see the magic, I don't believe it will happen. We contained (barely) a bad offense that was missing it's number one QB and RB.

To me, this is the same Skins team from years past that simply finds ways to lose while occassionally stumbing into wins. Romo, in rather meaningless game in the long run, will look great and win accolades. We have stopped no one that didn't consistently stop themselves. The offense has come out slow and played from behind. This is going to be a bad weekend with a worse week following it as all the gloom & doomers and naysayers treat us to a week of smug "I told you so!" 's.
O ye of little faith. Hast thou fallen so far from belief. This game shall bring forth the spirit of the Skins. The cowboys will be outplayed, and brought low before the Skins. Remember Thanksgiving, remember the final game. No, Dallas won't win, their defense is a shambles, and while our players have missed oh so many tackles, that won't continue, but the cowboys defense just is poorly schemed and poorly manned. Ware will be left wondering. Lee will be calling on Stan for his heroes to save him, Claiborne's feet will be born of clay. And though their offense might feed off of Bryant and Murray's energy, Garrett will call a timeout so that Romo can decide who to throw the INT to next.

The Skins defense will rise up and cowboys fans will shout PEDs at Jackson as he returns that INT for a touchdown. Hall will tackle Murray, and Murrays big toe shall be smitten, and he shall not return. Witten will beat Fletcher a few times, but Fletcher will be smiling at the end as he lifts Romo up off his ass.

Yes this will be the game that restores those with floundering faith. A game that will set the tone for the rest of the season. The Skins will win. Just have the faith.

I'm actually gonna go out to The Greene Turtle to watch this one. I love going to the sports bar to watch a Skins game, even if it's in Ravens country.

I am a little concerned that the Boys DID drop 48 points on Denver. But I think this is a must win for us, at least division wise, I'd love to see a tight game with another miracle outcome win on the last play like a few years ago.

What makes you think this team can beat Philly in Philly? I don't see any guarenteed wins on our schedule. We barely beat Oakland with Flynn as the QB and an injured McFadden.
