for as terrible as hall is. he was pretty amazing against dez last year. i wish he always played that well.
Dez went 8 catches for 145 yards and 2 TD's against Hall on Thanksgiving. Sure it was a losing effort, but if that what 'amazing' is, I'll take it.

And that one was against Wilson. Who tried, for some unknown reason, to play the ball instead of the man when he was trailing by 3 yards. His other TD that game was a back shoulder pass, also against Wilson.

I agree with the point that RGIII (and the rest of the team) shouldn't need this kind of thing for motivation, and I suspect that they don't. My point was that it was not wise of Carr to say it the week of the game. (I always thought the approach Coach Gibbs took was awesome -- "Aww shucks, I don't know how we're going to get a win against team X." And then team X would lose by 28 points.) And I do think it is different for Dungy to say it (he ain't playing anyone) or even Garcon to say it (which was his way of counseling patience, no doubt) than it is for the guy who is charged with stopping RGIII to say it.

And I hope he lives to regret those words.

Having said all that, I confess the fact that Romo put up 500 yards this weekend is really, really troubling. We had better generate a pass rush consistently.

Interesting conversation on ESPN this morning. Stink Schlereth the recipient of like 20 surgeries in his playing days Says:
You must establish a NEW 100% healthy threshold for yourself as you may never be as good as you were before. But he also states, that does not mean you won't be an incredible player, but it does mean you may have to change the way you play to adapt and most of all....BELIEVE and trust in your own wellness.
I can completely believe this as it is seems obvious that Robert does not believe totally in his repaired knee......yet

HTTR24_7 put up some interesting tweets showing that Romo's Denver game wasn't reflective of his season as a whole. It was interesting. He also put the point out there that you need to be pressuring Romo, which Haslett and the Skins seem to know how to do. I am sure Romo and Dallas will get their points (who doesn't against our D) but it's not going to be explosive like against the Broncos. Our offense just has to come and play the game for 4 quarters, or if only two, let it be quarters 1 & 2 so that Dallas is playing from behind.

All ill say is its a rivalry game. No matter how good or how bad either team is, they always play each other very close. So no matter how good Dallas looked last week or how bad we've looked, throw it all out.

RG3 gets back to form, Dallas implodes, Romo throws 2 picks, Amerson returns one for a TD, and Alfred morris gets a td catch and a td run. RG3 throws 3 tds, and we win this 38 - 24.

I am the Nostradomus of football. Watch it happen.

I remember last year we started a couple games off with a lot of quick slants, quick hitches and WR screen throws on our first drives. The defense had to back off a bit, and then RG3 and ALF went to work. I believe that we should do that this week. It would give RG3 confidence, which he needs, and keep the defense on its heels. We have to score early in this one, and we must pressure and fluster romo. If he gets hot, it doesn't matter if he throws the pick six late in the 4th quarter that we can count on. The difference will be too great. Keep romo on the move or on his back, and keep their defense on their heels.
