One guy in 20 some years doesn't strike me as a "knack".

A lot of Denver fans, probably even most, would argue it's shannys MO with both players and coaches. Hard to describe if you're not somehow connected to the city. I get down there often, going next month again for the broncos skins game, and it's striking how much dislike there is of mike. Stark contrast to th bizarre lauding he gets from homers like you, especially when he's got such a lousy record in DC.

Maybe a better way to approach this is asking what you guys see over the last 4 seasons, on and off the field, that gives you faith in Mike?

I see a defense that been subpar to leagues worst, and obviously much worse than the one Mike inherited. In the meantime we've seen a number of bad defenses completely turn the corner. Houston, Seattle, New Orleans and Indy just off the top of my head. Mikes offense has also been subpar to horrible aside from a single season that looks more and more like an outlier based on this little gimick. The team is listless (a staple of mikes teams since Elway and again strongly indicates his lack of connection ie alienation from his players), ill prepared and constantly undisciplined. All these have been hallmarks of mikes HC career outside an extremely brief stint with one of the greatest QBs in nfl history.

Now you go...

The same Schlereth that's been very very quiet about shanahan the last several years? Lol, but in fairness I've never heard Schlereth be hard on anyone.

I am referring to this Mark Schlereth who has continually used his position at ESPN to tout' Mike Shannahan's acumen in team building, Head Coaching, O-coordinator and locker room leader at every opportunity.......
Perhaps you are thinking of......another Mark Schlereth and Mike Shannahan?
It would certainly give your comments some.....validity and believability.

^^^ C'mon man. You're using an olineman as a proxy apologist for how bad Mike's been since he had Elway leading his team. That's just sad. Mike Shanahan coaches the Redskins, has arguably been the worst HC to KEEP his job the last 4 seasons. But yeah, if Mark Schlereth still has confidence in Mike then we all should. Lmao.

Schlereth has actually been very quiet about Shanahan, as have most players and coaches. The shit show in Washington isn't something most want to comment on.
