The win yesterday wasn't exactly great one, but win is win. For those people who said we don't have lot of talents, I disagree. We have talents, it is simply matter of utilizing them on right plays. Someone said that Helu isn't consistent, it's not fair to call that because Helu played only 3rd down passing siutations, which is rarely, until Morris got hurt and all of sudden, he rushed well. I put all of our offense failures on Mike and Kyle, Kyle has been calling for lot of passing plays. Like the announcers showed on tv yesterday during the game, first three games - we called 28% running plays and 72% passing plays. Granted, it's mostly due to playing catch up games. However in all of beginning of the games, Kyle called for passing plays, which factored in our lack of moving ball. Until yesterday, Kyle finally called for more running plays, which played big role in winning the game. I only hope Kyle realize that in the bye week and call more running plays for rest of the season. We have Morris and Helu, along with Griffin - use all of them on pistol formations often and then we will have plenty opportunities to score points.
I'm still concerned about our defense, they played somewhat better yesterday. Tackling is improved in little ways, regardless it's still an issue. I'm not sure if our defense will improve lot when Jackson and Jenkins return, OLB and DE are not main issues on the defense. All of players need to do their assignments accordingly to improve our defense. So we should not expect for those two players to improve our defense greatly.

Brady is operating with one of the best pass blocking OLs in the game. The guy isn't touched back there and this allows him to pick teams apart. Our OL isn't even remotely close to theirs. I agree with you about the skills players though.
He also has perfect throwing mechanics and has the pocket presence where he slides to create more time to throw.

Definitely. McFadden was breaking off big gainers until he went down with the injury and because Pryor wasn't playing, they didn't have the RO at their disposal.
With our tackling issues, they would've ran all over us.
Pretty much this. It probably would have been an Eagle's game redux - Although McFadden is no Shady McCoy (who, I contend, is the ONLY reason they beat us - that and our own offensive ineptitude through 2 1/2 quarters), he is a capable and competent runner when uninjured. We may still have won but not so sure.

Did I hear right that Logan Paulsen might be done for the year? This isn't any sort of insider info here, I thought I heard it mentioned today over the air. Is this true?

If we lose Logan.. That'll be terrible. I honestly think he's our most solid TE on the roster.
I also think Helu Jr. isn't getting enough touches. I know a lot of elements are involved, but he looked quick yesterday and at times look to have great vision.

I saw on one play nearing end of the game after Raiders used up all of their timeouts, Paulsen was on ground holding his knee on one play but he managed to walk over to sideline to prevent referee to take injury timeout. So I'm assuming it has to do something with his knee. Paulsen might be a reserve player but he is vital to our running game, it will be huge blow if we do lose him for rest of the year.

I wouldn't really say that one run insists he would of ran all over us. He only had one big run for like 11 yards.

Robert was 10-13 118 yards yesterday off of play action.
I'm hoping we can brainstorm a way to take advantage of the A gap blitz, because that's the biggest issue for us on 3rd downs right now. Teams keep doing it to us because we havn't been able to stop it.

Too early to say that. Steve Young was a running QB and he made the change to become a HOF QB. RG3 needs to work on it and he will.
He never stopped running the ball. He actually ran just as much in his later years then he did in his early days.

Helu is getting too many touches. He averaged 3.3 yard per carry yesterday. He's fine as the third down back catching passes out of the backfield, but his running ability between the tackles is nothing to write home about.
