Around the NFL Week 4BigHairedAristocrat 10-01-2013, 10:48 PM Chargers-Raiders game got moved to 1135PM Eastern Sunday night. Talk about crazy. CultBrennan59 10-01-2013, 11:52 PM Washington Redskins Robert Griffin III is more media personality than QB - ESPN The Magazine - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9748874/washington-redskins-robert-griffin-iii-more-media-personality-qb-espn-magazine) I've heard this same opinion a lot recently. Can't say I disagree with it either. skinsfaninok 10-02-2013, 12:27 AM I disagree with that read. I actually like the fact that we have a player that is on every commercial. I'm not worried about his work ethic or attitude he will be a winner for sure GridIron26 10-02-2013, 01:00 AM Nice move by Ravens - Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Ravens for draft picks - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000254395/article/jaguars-trade-eugene-monroe-to-ravens-for-draft-picks) GTripp0012 10-02-2013, 01:35 AM Nice move by Ravens - Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Ravens for draft picks - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000254395/article/jaguars-trade-eugene-monroe-to-ravens-for-draft-picks)And Jacksonville, to pick up picks for a line solidifier who hasn't solidified their line. Monroe is a good player, but Jacksonville hasn't been able to protect the QB with him. Picks will help them protect the QB in the future. skinsfan69 10-02-2013, 02:12 AM I disagree with that read. I actually like the fact that we have a player that is on every commercial. I'm not worried about his work ethic or attitude he will be a winner for sure I think the issue is that it rubs other players the wrong way. He's had one good year and all of a sudden he's the face of the NFL? Right or wrong, a lot of veteran players, including ones in his own locker room, don't like it. Everything is all about RG3. A lot of it isn't even his fault, but some of it is. Kindoy 10-02-2013, 03:18 AM How about Brian Hoyer? Sometimes a guy just needs a chance to play....gotta admit, pretty impressive what he's done in his two starts. Too early to tell but maybe Cleveland has found their QB. If they ever get a chance to trade him for a bag of chips they should, he'll never get them near a super bowl artmonkforhallofamein07 10-02-2013, 08:23 AM The RG III media circus started as soon as he won the Hiesman. He got into the hype machine before he played a down. Actually there was more last year in the offseason than this year. Green Monk Machine 10-02-2013, 08:27 AM Nice move by Ravens - Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Ravens for draft picks - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000254395/article/jaguars-trade-eugene-monroe-to-ravens-for-draft-picks) Couldn't we have made this move to bench polumbus? Green Monk Machine 10-02-2013, 08:40 AM I don't like CBS disrespecting London, but I do agree Barnett should spell him to some degree not only to keep LF fresh, but to prevent teams from being able to know on any given play TE's can run open or possibly that the run game might be able to bully us in the middle. Perhaps Haslett can create more packages with Tapp and Jackson and give LF a a chance to play earlier rushing downs. https://www.google.com/search?q=redskins&client=safari&hl=en&tbm=nws&ei=gwRMUrEEg7r1BKDwgbgM&start=30&sa=N&biw=480&bih=269&dpr=2 |
