the Brady vs Manning debate will always be great Lol
Well they both get too much blame and credit when their teams do poorly or well.
But they have been the best two quarterbacks of recent memory so it will always be a lovely debate.

Y! SPORTS (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/nfl-reportedly-mulling-expanding-playoffs-14-teams-182313319--nfl.html)
The NFL might become the NBA in terms of mediocre teams making the playoffs.

I hate parity. Half the league sucks and you cant pick a consistent winner LOL

That might have been the difference between them contending for a Super Bowl and just making the playoffs.
Don't see how that D can slow down manning in the playoffs without him.

Their playoff chances are not in any danger in that division. The Jets are Bills are both playing way above their heads (real Jets showed up yesterday) and their only threat is Miami...who won't beat them for the division but could challenge for a Wild Card.
Big loss definitely, but the Pats will be in the postseason as long as Brady is playing. He has no one to throw to, his RBs are not showing up and still winning.
Denver will shred them though.

Czaben made a good point this morning...Cleveland trades their "best" player and are 2-0?

It's going to be a big loss for them for a lot of reasons.
The larger the player, the longer it usually takes them to recover for any type of leg injury. Vince is 350lbs, he's got a lot of weight on those legs. I remember Maake Kemoateu tore his Achilles, a year later was on the redskins and was showing signs of not recovering from it, then spent a year away from football, then went to the ravens and won the Super Bowl looking like what he used to look like 3+ years ago. Vince will be very lucky to look like himself 2 years from now.

They had a solid D in place already.
I think they're on an emotional high, rallying and playing well together after the whole world was declaring their season over. Hoyer gave them a spark and is not making mistakes.
Will be interesting to see if they still shop Josh Gordon and Greg Little.
The new owner is taking them in a positive direction.
