I dont think the Brown made a mistake at all. The guy honestly hasnt done sh*t to justify his draft position. His yard per carry is sux behind an oline which really isnt that bad. Like I said before, Norv and Chud are not trading a difference maker if they thought he was an all pro. They dont believe in him and those guys know great RB.
That is exactly right. I grade this trade as a win for Cleveland. Trent Richardson was not drafted by the new/current GM, Coach and offensive coordinator. Plus he is proving to be injury prone.
In Alabama Richardson ran behind one of the most physical offensive lines that had a distinct advantage over most of its opponents. Most of the Alabama RB's ran well behiind that line.
Richardson does not have that advantage in the NFL and it shows. If I could get a 1st rounder (to go with my other 1st) for Trent Richardson I would send him packing in a heart beat. Next years draft has some good QB's and that is Cleveland's biggest need right now.

I'm listening to Holden and Danny for maybe 5 minutes and they had Pierre Garçon on.
(One of those two): Pierre, what makes Calvin Johnson different from other WRs in the NFL?
Pierre:....um let's see, he's 6'5 runs like a 4.2 has a 45 inch vertical and catches everything....
(Same guy who asked that question):...yeah I guess that was a dumb question.
That's like asking what makes Peyton manning different from Tim tebow.

Who says it's a fire sale? The current Browns executives are obviously trying to position themselves to trade up in the next draft for a player who they hope will become their Franchise QB. That's what the previous Browns executives should have done when they had the chance to get RGIII.
Actually, I don't see it that way. I honestly think they're trying to play competitive football, but I think they're fine if they win two games and have the number overall pick.

Actually no because Tebow has more physical gifts then Manning.

I agree just saying it was a bad analogy.

Norv loves power backs though.
He does?
LaDainian Tomlinson - Nope
Emmitt Smith - Nope
More versatile backs do well in Turner's system. Now Joe Gibbs on the other hand, would have loved him some Trent Richardson.

He could participate in the Olympics Tebowing competition but still only take bronze.

Norv has done well with a bunch of different types of backs.
Emmitt, Terry Allen, Stephen Davis, Tomlinson, Ricky Williams, Gore, etc.
