Reports -- DeAngelo Hall of Washington Redskins fined $20K for tackle - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/conversations/_/id/9666499/reports-deangelo-hall-washington-redskins-fined-20k-tackle)

NFL thought Hall's tackle was bad enough to fine him.

It was pretty bad, they were 5 yards out of bounds and he was still hanging on him.

game was so bad in the 1st that I forgot hall's easiest ever TD return. How many Tds does he have in his career now though? Seems like he gets one a year

He's a clown for this "logic":

Ok I"ll give you that, the logic about being a 6th round pick is pretty stupid.I think he was pretty spot on about RG3.I think he's correct in saying Morris wont gain as many yards this yr but his reasoning of it being because he's a 6th round pick and being underestimated is flawed

I mean it's not exactly an edgy opinion to suggest that the Redskins may be in trouble this year. The NFL did its best to give RG3 a homecoming opponent for his return, and they really beat our ass. They got exposed.

I think it's more productive to focus on how a team with more talent than it has had in the last five years can rally and improve over the next few weeks. Maybe they can. Maybe they'll struggle. But if you were going to predict doom for this team, you kind of missed the window where that's a prediction and not an observation.

People were down-ish on this team in the preaseason, but no one I read picked them to finish below Philadelphia.

He may not hit 1600 but less than 1000?

That article is a joke.

It was one game, everyone needs to take a deep breath and calm the F down.

Hanging on him by the horsecollar. It was a filthy hit.

DHall drives me nuts but I'll give him this - he always knows the right opposing players to target with his shenanigans.

He had a 'great' hit on Vick later in the game. Wasn't dirty but he made sure to finish the tackle, with a little extra rollover at the end. Vick didn't look the same after that hit.

DHall certainly engages in a lot of gamesmanship, though with regard to the Jackson play, that was not gamesmanship so much as it was making a dirty play to try an injure a guy. At least that's the only logical defense for his play.

We brought Hall back, so we just have to live with the negatives that we signed up for. 1 bad 15 yard penalty down, 6 to go.

Loved that play. Hall likes to punish the opponent, he just doesn't have the speed/agility to cover better receivers and was a gambler from the beginning anyway. That's why I thought FS would be a pretty logical transition.

Is it me or is this kind of early to be talking like this after one game? Too late to predict doom? Is this Redskins Apocalypse?
