If he can't scramble you take away 1 of his weapons which stops part of the defensive guessing game.

My decision has little to do with Shanahan's ability and more to do with the situation on both starting and backup QB. Do I expect the Redskins to have a good season yes. But do I believe they are entering week 1 with enough question marks to call an UPSET. yes

I know what's Shanahan's record in Opening day that's why I called it an UPSET and not a win because I believe the Eagles are better.

I guess it was your lead off statement about being a believe it when you see it guy that makes your picking the eagles odd. What has Kelly, Vick, or their revamped D done to make you believe they would be able to stop a pretty solid Skins rushing game, or not turnover the ball multiple times as Vick is prone to do. I wouldnt say what I have right now is RG3 doubt but I'm not completely sold on him being 100% for week 1. Sure he's ready to play but I think it will take him a week or two to get up to full speed and make sure the knee can hold up under game conditions. That said, I dont see Philly winning this game.
