Well lets take a look at the number 2 and 3 WR for Washington, Rod had 51 catchs for 650 yards (much less catches and only 200 yards short) for a average of 12.7 yads a catch plus 5 TD. So if Rod had caught 90 passes he would have had a total of 1141 yards. Thrash not so good but his yards per catch still higher at 11.9. I am not bashing Coles I dont dislike him or anything, like I said he had 2 really good seasons with the skins. I am just saying I am okay with getting moss for coles, the change maybe what we needed on offense. I wish we could have taken less of a cap hit but oh well.

I say don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out Coles!!!! I think his toe is and will be the end of him! WE a year or two we will all be happy the Jets tock him off our hands and if Moss comes around like i think he will. That will make all the better!

I think that Coles and Pennington are dating! Chad volunteered to take a pay cut to make thier reunion official. :oink:

who are we to demonize Coles?
We are the fans who make or break these guys. We are the people who cheered for him. We are the fans who supported his team unfaillingly even through years of losing. That's who...
He is the chump who took shelfishness to another level and created a no win situation for us.

I'm gonna' agree with that. We are the fans who pay for the crazy bonuses with $7 beers at FedEx, so I feel that we have every right to demonize someone when we are feeling their after-effects even when they are long-gone.
(Also, my first original post was not meant to demonize however, it was just for some additional information I didn't think we had posted yet.)
Bridaman - could his 90 catches with a low YPC have to do with an anemic offensive scheme? I think so! You can only make so many yards on WR screens.
Matty - Sorry I don't jump off liking a guy to hating him in three instants. I think a lot of things happened behind the scenes that we can't see and who are we to demonize Coles?
You don't seem to have a problem with demonizing Gibbs. Every chance you get you take a swipe at the offense. Why does your logic not apply to the offense as well?
I don't hate Coles, but if he doesn't want to be a Redskin and he seems more interested in his personal stats, I find little room to respect him.

All do respect to Joe, the offense he installed was horrid. Very predictable. But I do find it interesting that Clinton Portis could make play recommendations and Joe Listened. Gary Clarke in his own way requested plays and got Joe's ear in times past. Wonder why LC had such a problem. The bottom line is, LC is damaged goods, physically and mentally. Good riddance. Unfortunately Danny Boy has had a fixation on Moss ever since he was drafted by NY and well the rest is History. Let's move on.

Off topic a bit. But lets trade Brunell to the Texans for Charlie Casserly. I see two positives here. We maintain the ongoing goal of making sure that the state of Texas never has a decent football program again. And we get our boy back.
I'd do that trade in an instant.
(wait for it.)
Casserly has a better arm.
