Whatever floats your boat. Do you think Patriot fans have a weekly negative post? Maybe this year they start.

Skins fans, I include my self, need to realize this is not the 2000-2010 Skins anymore. There is a quality staff (not just BA/MS, but across the board) and they are developing dynamic young talent. Negative nancy's will be lacking in material this year.

I think every fan board has a realistic fan on it whom other fans may think of or look at them as "negative Nancy's".

I think you got to have realistic/negative whatever you want to call them, fans on every board to 'pump the brakes' per say, for all the other overly optimistic fans. Because if its a loss, we all know it'll be an even bigger let down than usual for those very optimistic fans.

But I do agree we are turning the corner as a franchise, with drafting and Lockerroom leadership as well as better team play. But it doesn't matter if your an awful franchise or a Super Bowl winning franchise, upsets occur. It's the NFL, any given Sunday anything can happen.

The other thing we need to think about is the Zorn effect.
You're confused, by 'Zorn Effect', what I'm saying is the effect of having a new head coach with an unknown system. We think we know what Kelly is going to run in the NFL, but we still have no clue what he's going to call on certain downs. Just like Zorn other teams didn't know Zorn had the guts to call a draw on 4th and 2 from the 48. They didn't know Zorn would call trick plays on special teams. But like all new head coaches, they are figured out by about the midway point of the season when all teams have enough tape to figure out new coaches plays and tendencies. They problem is the we don't play our first game against Philly after week 8, we play them week 1. That is eerily concerning.

You've thought about it too much.

Zorn actually had NFL experience as a very good starting QB and as a coordinator.

Kelly's coming in blind and arrogant. In fact, I only think he came to the NFL because he was afraid of NCAA violations. He's not ready and his offense is not going to work in the NFL.

Besides, the Giants will just slow him down by faking injuries.

What does it matter if Redskins fans are overconfident? How is that a good point? If we lose, I really doubt Shanahan is going to come out and say "Well, the fans were way overconfident. That really hurt us"

^ for fans sake, coaches don't care. Why would you even ask that?

Side note the eagles are imploding

ESPN NFL - Riley Cooper and Cary Williams, who was critical of WR for racial epithet, scuffle in practice

Williams was covering Cooper in a non-contact drill. The two got hold of each other and began scuffling. It was impossible to hear what they were saying, if anything, over the loud music coach Chip Kelly favors during practice.

Chip Kelly exudes professionalism.

Williams has a history of losing his temper on the field. He was sidelined during a joint practice with the New England Patriots after getting into a facemask-grabbing situation after a play. Williams was fined a couple of times last year, while he was with the Baltimore Ravens. He and DeSean Jackson were each fined $10,000 for tussling in a September game, and Williams was fined $15,750 for a late hit in a game against Denver. Williams avoided punishment for shoving an official during the Super Bowl.

Sounds like Riley Cooper wasn't actually the problem here.

Going to be fun to watch the Eagles melt down all year.

Music? Why not use crowd noise to simulate...crowd noise?
