Things I took from this article:

1) Tom Tupa needs to get on board if he wants to reach the Ring of Honor. ;)

2) Coles makes an important point about left- and right-handed QBs. In a game of inches, we need all of our receivers to be as meticulous.

3) Speaking of Coles and his work ethic, how about having to make your case to play at the early extra mini-camp? God I love this player.

4) We appear to be approaching the end of the Fiore era. Dockery is a great run blocker, so I think I'll sleep OK.

5) Fix the Arrington issue already. I don't think LaVar will let it hit the field, but he might join me in being tired of the mandatory paragraph about his grievance every time his name is mentioned.

Looks like Fiore will end up as a bust for us.

I agree, gotta love Coles, he's begging to get on the field for a minicamp, Gibbs is going to absolutely love him. Gibbs is looking for a core group of Redskins guys, I think Coles is going to be at the top of that list.

I'm already sick and tired of the Arrington contact issue.

I think it said Tupa is in Hawaii for some type of players meeting. That is why he isn't here. It is him and Wynn representing.

The more I hear/read quotes from them, the more I love both Coles and Smoot. These guys are real players and real Redskins, as Gibbs puts it.

Unfortunately, LaVar isn't. His whole issue just doesn't sit right with me, as I think it is with most people. I really like him as a player, but right now I kinda wish he would just go away...

Gibbs just has such a presence. Where Spurrier never seemed quite sure of what to do, Gibbs exudes confidence, even when he says how much he has to learn. A true motivator and leader. I love it!

Totally agree about Coles. Arguing to play with a hurt foot so he can begin to get used to a left-handed tailing ball. Man, that's perfection. Gibbs has gotta love a guy like that.

Perfection unless he aggrivates the injury, in which case it's just stupid. I don't know how severe the injury is or if this is even a possibiliy. I always go by the better safe than sorry, especially in mini/training camp/preseason.

I would assume he wouldn't be out there against the team doctor's advice.

Dockery isn't even starting right now ... Kenyatta Jones is taking snaps with the first team at guard. Of course, a lot can change between now and training camp but it may be an indication that Gibbs isn't so high on Dockery. Too bad about Fiore, if retirement rumors turn out to be true.
