ESPN and Sportsline are reporting that Jamal Lewis has been indicted on drug conspiracy charges by a federal grand jury in Atlanta. He's accused of conspiring to distribute cocaine. We'll see what happens with this

Looks crazy, I never did like him, but thanks to him I won one of my games in the playoffs in Fantasy, he had a bad week on the other guys roster!

Let's send Betts to the Ravens for a draft pick, heck let's give them Trung as well

Anyone know the details on the charges? How much coke? I read the report on si.com but it wasn't all that useful.

Yeah, Betts is in the same mold as Lewis, but not as good. Maybe they can use Trung as a KR, he's useless as a RB.

Do ya'll think that Portis can take the punishment in Gibbs' ground attack? It seems like a system that needs a durable back and Portis isn't all that big. Point is, even though Portis is far more talented, we might need Betts as a change of pace...

Who was the one listening to Mike and Mike this morning? When Grenny went on that rant ( and I was with him every step of the way), about how some fans would kill ourselves to be out on the feild every day. He was reffering to the Steriod stuff at that time, but this shit really pisses me off, I hope this SOB never touches a football again. Why piss your life away for that. Freaking dumbass. I hope Ray Lewis, who I beilve was just in the wrong palce at the wrong time with his case, kicks this guys ass.

Ray Lewis was in the wrong place at the wrong time and he knows more than he is telling, he pulled an OJ to a lesser degree and Jamal is guilty as well, it is the same problem everywhere with somebody on the celebrity level...they think they are above the law

Yup. Coincidental that both Lewis incidents unfolded in Atlanta. Pro football players are treated like gods their entire life, all along the way failing to learn what responsibility is. They then reach the NFL with a sudden influx to their bank account feeling omnipotent. It's a shame that they end up doing stupid stuff like Lewis has done.

i think ray lewis knows more about the murders.if he did it,who knows other than god?i think it is a rush to judgement to say jamal lewis is guilty.what
do you know that we do'nt my friend?just because he is a celebrity it does
not mean he's guilty until he's tried and convicted.the oj case is history, get
over it.the rest of the world has.

geez, watch this guy get probation and jason williams gets community service.

i can't believe the celebrity double standard we have in this country... if you got money you have a reasonable doubt.

This will ultimately be meaningless. Though you guys should see the news here in Baltimore, they are acting like its Kobegate II over here because their precious RB is in a bit of legal trouble.
