Philly will make a few yards up and down the field. They have a terrific line that will be a test for our front seven. Offensively, they have three weapons - McCoy, Jackson and Vick.

Vick will be contained and I dare him to beat us with his arm and, in the battle of wits between Fletcher v. Vick, it's no contest.

Jackson is a tough in space and on the deep ball. He should be doubled all day though b/c there is no other WR or TE who can consistently beat double coverage (remember when Moss was the No. 1 with no No.2? That's Jackson now).

McCoy will be tough. He'll make some yards early.

Ultimately, I think they get stuck in long passing downs and their crappy defense is going to be playing a lot. By the 4th Q AlMo is going to be ripping off 8 -10 yard runs and they will simply be way too tired to stop him.

They'll score a couple TD's early but then we will churn out yards and points while their "fast paced" offense cools their jets on the bench.

Its still pretty earlier for week 1 predictions, but I think the Eagles Redskins score will be something like 47-17.

I dont know how terrific their O-line seriously is...I think our front 7 has the advantage in that catagory, especially in the pass rush department. Vick under pressure is a turnover machine.

What's been the biggest surprise for everyone in the preason so far? For me it's been the pass rush at every level of depth. We know the usual suspects, but Jackson, B Jenkins and Tapp have come on as well. We should have a nice rotation of guys to rush the passer.

I think we are going to run the ball for a mininum 200 yards. How is Chip's offense gonna get on the field?

I think you are spot on here. They have a rushing defense which struggled from last year throughout this year's preseason. We have a great running game. Ergo: we run all over them, keeping Vick on the bench.

This Bills/Redskins thread has become an Eagles/Redskins thread, so here is my prediction.... The Eagle want to go fast, so did the Bills. A fast 3 and out makes your Defense exhausted by the 4th Qtr which is what we all saw happen to the Bills. I don't think the Eagles offense can keep up the scoring with this year's Skins team for 4 Qtrs. This Redskins team will score 30+ on that Eagle's defense. If the Skins don't turn it over, I think Vick will throw at least 1 or more picks and they will also have too many 3 and outs. Going fast is fine if you can score points, but I think Chip Kelly will find his defense worn down in too many games this year to keep up that offensive philosophy. Some times ball control is a good thing.

I tend to agree with (gasp) Thiesman. We will be able to control the flow of the game and keep the defense on the field. If the Eagles run this uptempo offense then I honestly see us pounding the rock and beating their secondary in the play action game.

By the time the forth quarter rolls around their Defense will be gassed and we can control the end of the game.

As far as our d goes, well it will be ready to rumble and give up some plays but also make a few. I still think we win that game handily.

I agree completely.

Eagles offensive line has alot of problems...

I admit, I am only going but what I have read. According to Dan Graziano over at ESPN NFC East blog, the Eagles have the best line in our division and maybe one the top lines in the league. The get J. Peters back and he appears to have made a full recovery - which helps a whole lot.

What problems do you see with their line? Why?

Just curious. I have found DG is usually pretty solid in his analysis.

The Eagles O-line is not even top 10 in the league.

Peters may be back but he just tore his Achilles twice. Remember when he fell off his walker and re-tore it? He sued the walker company! Plus, he may have some legal/league issues with his street-racing and fleeing police arrest. He's not reliable.

Jason Peters Reportedly Arrested for Drag Racing and Fleeing Police | Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1671355-jason-peters-reportedly-arrested-for-drag-racing-and-fleeing-police)

Their Center, Kelce, tore 2 knee ligaments last year and only played 2 games.

Guard Herremens missed 8 games last season with a dislocated foot.

Guard Evan Mathis is recovering from ankle surgery.

#4 overall pick Lane Johnson has talent, no doubt, but also an injury history and of course he's a rookie.

Their backup, Danny Watkins is struggling with concussions this preseason, chronic ankle problems and is on the way to being labeled a bust.

All of these injured and injury-prone linemen are going to last in Chip Kelly's uptempo offense? Doubtful.
