Was Samuels Worth The Contract???

I was wondering if you guys think samuels deserved a big contract?? He had fallen the last couples years, but did he have a good season last year????

If we didn't another teams was and we could not afford to loss him. His problem was in the lack of blocking schems when Spur man was here. He only allowed one sack last year.

It all begins with the O line........and good OT are hard to find. I think he was worth it, he played decent under Bugel last year................

He had 2 years of no coaching under Spurrier so naturally regressed.

Last season under Buges he improved, and whilst still not at the Pro Bowl level of play he had previously achieved, and im sure that under another off season of coaching he will reach that level again.

Left Tackle is the key position on the OL and Samuels is definitely worth his deal. Coupled with a fully recovered Jansen i think we have one of the top tackle combos in the NFL.

yep.....and he tried to give us more cap room.....no thanks to coles

it wasn't coles's fault. front office's for letting him go. he didn't have to be traded.

Just like the person above said, Samuels was a matter of necessity. Either we pay for it now or PRAY that we could sign or mold a rookie. Both of those cases would be good.

i think samuels definately deserverd his big contract. he has helped the skins more than once and it was time to pay him back. plus he is a pretty good player, yea , his play slipped under spurierr but it started coming back last year and i think this year he will be even better.

Yeah, I mean we should remember he only gave up 1 sack last year.
