I read somewhere recently that Plaxico Burress has fired agent Michael Harrison and is in the market to hire redskins friendly Drew and Jason Rosenhaus, could he have an intrest in suiting up with the burgundy and gold? An encentive based contract may be right down our alley he could be a possibilty for us.

Courtney brown will be released on Monday. Although it is said that browns gm savage wants to resign him at a lower cost, he could still come to the skins, be reunited with Pennstate teamate Arington, and a be with a Defensive coach in Williams who is known for resurrecting careers for players. It would be in his best intrest to become a skin.

Last but not least Boulware of the Ravens might end up being traded. He is the most unlikely senario because like Barrow he missed last season because of injury. However for one second imagine the possibilities if the skin traded gardner for Boulware and a 5th round pick. we restructure his deal to a cap friendly extension. If he and Barrow were able to come back healthy we could run a rotation that would extend the shelf life of our line backers and have one of the most dynamics defenses in history.

Man I love the possibilities of free agentcy.

I also read in the post that the trade of Gardner would create much needed cap room. I feel we may not be completly done yet

Boulware is an outside LB we are set in that area, I don't see any need for an OLB whatsoever.

We would never trade for Boulware.

Courtney Brown sucks.

Plaxico Burress sucks. He can't run routes to save his life, and he has a horrible attitude. I don't want any of these guys.

I'm going to say no and no to the Burress and Bolware options. I am intrigued by Courtney Brown though. It really depends what cost he would sign for; I would give him no more than a Million a year; but if we gave him a short, incentive based contract, I actually would like to see him come here. I think he could be a upgrade, if he could stay healthy. Remember that was the big knock on Springs last year and he turned out great, I would deifntly take a shot on him if its a low cost.

Most definitely. I think that we are still going to take a WR in the draft so a Plax signing might be overkill, especially for the price he might bring (even if it is small).

burress is a headache waiting to happen. plus, he is looking for a 1 year deal to showcase himself in the hope of getting a megadeal after next year. plus, i think he is looking to go to someone like philly who is a superbowl contender. i would rather have gardner back than burress.

bouleware was less productive than hartwell and will cost a mint to sign long term. besides, why do we need another outside linebacker?

i do not think there is anyone still out there that the skins "must" have. we need to focus on the upcoming draft and stockpile picks if we can by trading gardner.

Courtney Brown is another Philip Daniels, aka, never healthy - if he comes cheap, that's one thing, but I wouldn't even give him what we gave Daniels.

Daniels was a pretty healthy fellow, in general, before this season. I do agree that I wouldn't give him what we gave Daniels. We also need to remember that Williams works VERY well with what he haves. Just having back some of our injured starters from last year will make a huge difference.

as far as us signing plax goes, i think the skins have no interest in him even if drew rosenhaus is his agent. if you haven't noticed by now, drew rosenhaus is the biggest agent out there. he has more clients than teams have players. he represents about ninety more players than any other agent, so its not going to matter if he is plax's agent or not. and plax would be another future bust. he's not that great, i would say him and gardner are the same, and we are looking to trade gardner. he represents another high profile free agent we sign that turns out to be crap.
