Is "cleared for practice" different then cleared for normal play and contact?

So much for the PUP list, its gonna be great to see him out there

I don't know whats better, this news or the fact that the dreaded offseason is almost over.

I said it before, his recovery has been amazing - you just have to look at the conversations being held about his expected timetable:

January: How many games will he miss? Will he play at all in 2013?

April: Will he be ready to be the day 1 starter?

May: How much time will he spend on the PUP list at training camp?

June: Will be cleared for full practice day one of training camp?

Now: How much will he play in the preseason games?
