I was looking at overthecap, and the Raiders cap spending this year is about 69 million but their dead cap money is 50 million. That is absolutely crazy outta whack

Is this the only week in the whole NFL season where all 32 teams play on the same day and time?

Does anyone know if the referees use this game as a weeding out game, in other words since this is the most refs needed at any point during the season does the league use this preseason game specifically as a make or break game for setting season lineups?

It's insane how much they're paying for players no longer on their roster, or even playing football any more. 38% of their salary cap is going to players not playing. They're fielding a team with $78 million and everyone else (except for us, F...Mara) can spend up to $123 million.

Rolonda McClain is costing them $11million against the cap alone.

The team has no talent and no money.

Interesting article though...they'll be in good shape next year...like us! The new coach has cleaned house, returning only 10 of 22 starters from last year. Some notable departures: Richard Seymour, Carson Palmer, Tommy Kelly, Michael Huff, Matt Shaughnessy, Desmond Bryant, Phillip Wheeler, Dave Tollefson, Shane Lechler and Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Next offseason is going to be the Bruce Allen and the Ghost of Al Davis show...big spending. Look how well we've done with the $36 million cap hit. We built a Super Bowl contender at that huge disadvantage and next year we'll have $18 million extra to spend over the past two years. We're going to really solidify this team. We'll be able to afford some of the top FAs.

Good point on the Jets by Ross Tucker:

It was "important" for Sanchez to play in 4Q w/ 2nd string but not for Geno to get a series or two w/ starters tonight?

Introducing the "knucklepunt".

Antawn Randel El would be in trouble.

Good job blowing your SECRET weapon, Andy. You should never have said a word...just do it in a crucial situation, preferably not November 25.

I saw we put Santana back for punts against SF. He can catch anything.
