The Ravens SB win was more than just luck.
Luck is always a lame excuse in my book. Teams just don't luck out and win Super Bowls.
I personally enjoy "the refs cost us the game" > Luck

Oh don't get me wrong I agree with you but there is always a smear of luck that can't be denied ,the Giants where lucky the ref didn't call in the grasp on Eli in 07 , had they he'd have only one win not 2

Gabbert carted off with ankle injury | National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Gabbert-carted-off-with-ankle-injury.html)
in your QB fantasy rankings move Gabbert back one to 32, and Sanchez up 1 to 31. that is all folks

They've neutered him badly though. Can't even choose his starting QB?? Looks like the Vinny/Zorn show a few years back.

Really , so luck has nothing to do with anything football ?
it takes a lot of hard work and practice to get lucky.
when a fat lineman continues to trail a play he knows he will never catch up to but then finds himself in the right spot to recover a fumble, its not luck.
when a ball carrier fumbles the ball out of bounds, its not luck if he switched hands so he was carrying the ball on the outside.

.
I believe that if you work hard enough you make your own luck but I need to know in your example ,why?

I believe that if you work hard enough you make your own luck but I need to know in your example ,why?
im not sure what you are exactly asking of me.
my best assermation is "why does it take a lot of hard work to get lucky in sports?"
- i guess i would point to my examples previously provided. fat boy running down the field futilely trailing the fast boys gets rewarded w a fumble recovery bc he continued to pursue the play and got rewarded for his hussle by being in the right spot at the right time . .
but i often say "it takes a lot of hard work to get lucky" bc he i heard patrick roy say it years ago. i personally havent had an original thought in a long time.
ohhh damn . i just thought of my very own original thought/cliche
"By always being in the right spot, your time will come" ..that kinda sucks ..
''by always being at the right spot at the right time, you will be the first to answer to door when opportunity knocks" ...
"the right spot is by the door, the right time is when opportunity knocks ..
"no one has ever answered a door while sitting on the couch . .
"if you stand by the door and wait, eventually you will be in the right spot at the right time when opportunity knocks ...
