As a state employee, I say fuck that cunt bag. They shouldn't allow these people to recuse themselves(much like NC has done), they should do their job or resign. Simple as that. Maybe I'll go tell my boss I can't install this new equipment because my religion forbids me. Better yet, how about a Salafi Muslim worker at the DMV refusing to give women driver's license because they believed women shouldn't be driving. As Matty brought up prior, the hypocrisy of this woman to use religion as a convenience to suit her needs. She didn't give a fuck about religion when she was married 4 times. She didn't give a shit about it when she cheated on her husbands with the next guy. Yeah....fuck that cunt. That's all I got to say about her.

I think that guy makes a damn good point. Basically some sins are ok and open to interpretation- especially ones that a bible thumper is guilty of. But when it is something like homosexuality in question, well that is just inexcusable. Alot of hypocrites out there that conveniently pick n chose when the bible means something.

JMO, In a nutshell, you take the bible for what it says or not at all. Some denominations and individuals want to interpret and the redefine to......"fit" their lifestyle? Not an option
BTW, no sins are.....ok. Regardless of who is guilty of the sin.
Largely, it is not open to interpretation in this way. You basically don't get to go ala carte..... That sort of thing is frequently a perversion of the word that...one makes to suit their own purposes.

Edit: just for the record Hog im not calling u a bible thumper. I know ur just pointing out the facts. The bible is very very old. I think if it was rewritten by God himself today that it could simply say....

yeah, I'm pretty sure it was clear, people use the bible as an excuse in a lot of places and say that we should follow it or that it's very specific re: gays like you have here, then ignore others (like you just did) when they bring up things like the bible's treatment of women as property, that rape is more or less okay, that we shouldn't be eating shellfish, or getting remarried (for the most part), etc.

you're the one saying you can't a la carte the bible, and i'm just pointing out that people do it all the time, and most christians don't follow biblical law in an awful lot of places.
