This is big news but no need to panic at this point. Its disappointing for sure. When is the decision set to be made? Bigger question, will this drop RG3 in Jaws' rankings?

If that means he has to sit a while then so be it. Long term health of that knee is more important than anything at this point. scowan 07-19-2013, 11:30 AM I think if RG3 is put on the PUP list next week he is going to initially be pissed. It will pass eventually, but he will be pissed none the less. Chico23231 07-19-2013, 11:33 AM I want the knee buckled up 100% and ready to go when he finally gets out there and takes hits. Plus its good to know we got a baller as a back up these days. But I also agree RG3 will be pissed, but he needs to use it as motivation and recognize the overall plan. scowan 07-19-2013, 11:45 AM One thing that will help for RG3 verses a guy like A. Peterson however is that even in camp QBs wear the yellow "don't touch me" jersey. A guy like Peterson basically gets hit every play as a RB. If RG3 gets hurt in camp it will be because he cut too hard and tore something or ran funny or something like that. It shouldn't be from a contact injury. If he passes his physical, I would probably let him practice, but just hold him out of preseason games (where the contact occurs) CRedskinsRule 07-19-2013, 01:20 PM I think if RG3 is put on the PUP list next week he is going to initially be pissed. Even if it wasn't, I don't see him on it. scowan 07-19-2013, 01:30 PM I thought it was already, unofficially, put out that he's not going on the PUP list. Even if it wasn't, I don't see him on it. Well this was on CSNwashington.com this morning. Report: RG3 could start camp on PUP | Comcast SportsNet Washington (http://www.csnwashington.com/football-washington-redskins/talk/report-rg3-could-start-camp-pup) mredskins 07-19-2013, 01:45 PM I want the knee buckled up 100% and ready to go when he finally gets out there and takes hits. When speaking of knee injures and them healing buckled is a word to avoid. Just say'n. HailGreen28 07-19-2013, 02:33 PM When speaking of knee injures and them healing buckled is a word to avoid. Just say'n.Aww, we should all loosen up. Playing will be a snap this season! #reversekarma I still think armoring up his knee like Barry Bond's elbow might be a good idea. http://allorto.ru/published/publicdata/U293518OTHER/attachments/SC/products_pictures/Legkij%204-tochechnyj%20zhestkij%20nizkoprofilnyj%20ortez%20d lja%20razgruzki%20i%20korrekcii%20valgusnovarusnoj %20ustanovki%20kolennogo%20sustava%20Oa%20adjuster %20DonJoy.jpg RedskinRat 07-19-2013, 04:07 PM I still think armoring up his knee like Barry Bond's elbow might be a good idea. Tie an anvil to his arse while you're at it, that should stop him scrambling. www. iseewhereyouaregoingwiththis.com/obvious. html (http://www.iseewhereyouaregoingwiththis.com/obvious.html) |
