SmootSmack 07-17-2013, 05:28 PM Actually I don't know if he himself will be today, in general the physicals start today Lotus 07-17-2013, 05:37 PM Actually I don't know if he himself will be today, in general the physicals start today Which means that there is only one week left of the offseason. What a shame. Giantone 07-17-2013, 05:41 PM NFL coach rankings: Personality doesn't matter, but rings sure do - NFL - CBSSports.com News, Rumors, Scores, Stats, Fantasy (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/22790909/nfl-coach-rankings-personality-doesnt-matter-but-rings-sure-do) Shanahan comes in at 7. Belichick still at 1, which is questionable with his recent drafts and personnel decisions. Disagree, to me the list is on target except for Rex Ryan, way to high on the list. CultBrennan59 07-17-2013, 06:19 PM Disagree, to me the list is on target except for Rex Ryan, way to high on the list. No, Ryan to me is a good HC. He's where he should be. If he didn't have Sanchez, and actually had a good QB, we'd all think that he's a top 10 coach. donofriose 07-17-2013, 06:40 PM Part of the reason mark Sanchez ended up being so bad is because of the way Rex Ryan handled him. Made him above everyone else and overly protected him. That locker room was divided and that is on the coach. I don't see the jets making the playoffs and 3 years of not making a playoff appearance... That isn't top 10 and he will be fired as be should be. And then he will end up on the lions. Giantone 07-17-2013, 07:35 PM No, Ryan to me is a good HC. He's where he should be. If he didn't have Sanchez, and actually had a good QB, we'd all think that he's a top 10 coach. Rex Ryan is a D coach nothing more. artmonkforhallofamein07 07-17-2013, 08:35 PM Rex Ryan is a D coach nothing more. Agree to an extent. He is only a good head coach when he has the team believing in him like years one and two. They believe and like the bravado and arrogance. Now I think he just comes off as a broken record. It will be interesting to see how his career goes if he loses his job after another poor season. KI Skins Fan 07-18-2013, 08:53 AM Rex Ryan is a D coach nothing more. I agree. It seems that anyone who plays or coaches in NYC is likely to be hyped and overrated by the NYC-based media. As perennial also-rans, the Jets would be virtually ignored by the national media if they played in another city and because of that Rex Ryan would be ranked lower on this list.
