I hate wishing time away but I'm more excited for THIS season than I was for last season.

I love the fact that they're going to try to groom McCants into a possession receiver, I just hope he can find a way to not fumble when fighting for extra yards. His hands are pretty good and he'll be fine, I also kinda think Ramsey likes throwing to him.

That said...Moss, Patten, McCants, Jacobs and Thrash should be good enough especially if the Moss extension is going to pay him like a number 1. I say we look at DE or CB in the first round. I think we should wait till the 3rd to go TE, hopefully Matt Jones will be on the board!

Yeah, I'm kinda excited about next year, the downer is I won't be in the area for most of it. I'll be in the Nolia.

Where's Nolia? I have to make the 3-4 hour drive to DC to make most of the games. :P I HATE that drive. It is pure hell until I start seeing all the Redskins flags on cars.

oh yeah, try dallas. its great to live in til football season. because i have to go watch the skins in texas stadium and watch us lose everytime. i actually got punched in the face once after a loss, screaming "cowgirls suck" in the halls exiting the stadium. it was hilarious, he punched me and ran like a mofo.

That's pretty typical for Cowboy's fans.

I think it's one of those situations that since he DIDN'T play, he may not have value to many teams. I can see him playing some next year, getting his value up, and trading him in the offseason of next year.

Thing is, Morton wasn't that bad. He had a kick return for a touchdown in 2003 and another return for over 40 yards. He averaged nearly ten yards a punt return, despite the fact that he rarely returned punts with the Jets. (Non-Special Teams side note: he also started two games at running back, ending with a 4.5 YPC, with 18.75% of his carries going for first downs). 2004 was disappointing, but 6 games with a new coaching staff before a season ending injury shouldn't be a career year for anyone.

Right he wasn't that bad, and if we didn't overpay him to steal him away from the jets I probably wouldn't complain about him. his production does not warretn his paycheck. The Redskins have had a lot of those guys since Danny arrived though. I think it's clear that Gibbs is working on changing that.
