Has anyone else completely lost faith in the military?

If a college age kid is considered old enough to be trusted to go to war then he should be considered old enough to know not to assault/abuse a woman

Men should be taught that from day one , not matter what their age.

Like I said, this line of thinking led to these issues.

You're basically throwing your hands up and saying oh well, when men and women get together shit happens.

Lame.

The military clearly looked the other way for too long and did not have policies in place to discourage this behavior and to properly discipline those that were clearly way out of line.

Your 40 these kids are half your age. Your talking young kids living together, tight quarters, etc... and this will happen. Remember a comment can be sexual assult. "Hey baby you have a fine ass" is considered a sexual assault if its an unwanted comment and reported its counted. My guess many of these cases are simple unwanted comment made to a woman.

Why didnt the top brass in front of congress go with that defense last week?

"We investigated and most sexual assaults were actually compliments taken the wrong way."

I tell ya, that explanation belongs in the FD Hall of Fame. Thats just a classic.

The fuss is over the large number and my guess is that number is inflated because a rude comment is considered. I actually think it should be considered a complment.

BTW I did not make that up.

Unwanted sexual contact is everything from somebody looking at you sideways when they shouldn't to someone pushing you up against the wall and brutally raping you
